i dont know why, but i am just so scared to use a tampon. i am scared how to do it & the thought just freaks me out. But i need to because i have swimming in school & i just think it will be better. could you please tell me how to insert it, & please don't tell me to ask my mom. what kind will be the best for a teenager? i have Playtex Slim Fits?

i just got off my b.c pill about 2 weeks ago and am supposed to start my period next week. i had unprotected sex 2 nights ago but he didnt *** inside of me and i am having cramps right now is there a chance i can be pregnant or would the b.c pill still be in my system?

why does he keep saying this?
i've been dating this guy for about three months and we have been very intimate with each other and every time we finish having sex he says .....oh the condom busted your probably getting pregnant right now.....or if i say my stomach hurts he'll say oh that's because your pregnant.....he keeps making comments about pregnancy or kids......he also says that he very very fertile all the time.......what is going on with him?

Breast cancer runs in my family. I am only 20 but this is something I have to think about. I know that at my age breast cancer is 1 out of 225 people. Also if I want to have an early detection I would need to do a self breast check because they dont do mamorgrams at my age. The problem is that I have lumps all over my breasts. You cant see them but you can feel them. How am I suppose to look for lumps when I have them all over? They always hurt really bad before my period. Sometimes I get a dull burning sensation in my left breast too. Is that normal? Please help!!!

A family member noticed a few weeks ago that she had a lump in her breast. She had it checked out last weel and the lump grew from a pea size to an egg size since then. And the other breast has about 10 or 15 small cysts on it. Just within the past three days she can't hold any food down and the big lump on the breast got bigger, turned black, and is leaking blackish greenish ooze. She is leaking from about five different parts of her breast. The hospital sent her home since she has no health insurance. That said they would call her when a spot opened in the cancer clinic. They didn't even test it to see if it is cancer. Does cancer leake from the skin? Do the lumps turn black?

I just feel weird about taking a pill every day from here on out. I have do have OCD and I don't know if the medicine is working because I am still feeling like I was, just a little less, but I don't want to be on drugs forever. Can you overcome this without medicine??

I just found out that I have cervical cancer and I am haveing it removed on the 25. I am so scared and nervous. My doctor is putting me to sleep so I will not feel anything when she is doing it. But I don't know what to expect after I get up. Will I have alot of pain? Or will I bleed at all and if so will it be for a long time? Can someone please help me?

Hi All~
I'm writing because I need to ask a question regarding birth control pills. I'm 21 years old, have been married for two years, and am currently taking Alesse. I was supposed to start my pack last Sunday but due to work I didn't make it to the pharmacy and I took my missed pill on Monday with my regular dose. Then in a moment of true "brilliance" I took a placebo and not an active pill. I thought I was paying better attention but it was dark and I thought that I took the right one. The next night when I went to take my regular dose I realized that I'd screwed up and took the missed dose. My husband and I made love the night that I missed the dose and (not to get too personal) we made love again last night both knowing that it's a possibility for me to get pregnant. My question is what are the odds of me getting pregnant having missed the pills and having unprotected sex? If I did get pregnant would the baby have birth defects from the birth control?

I just delivered my first child via emergency C-section in June 2006 and I just found out today that I am 4 weeks pregnant AGAIN! I am so stupid because one careless encounter with my husband has led to another pregnancy so soon! My husband is thrilled, but I am worried sick. Has anyone else out there been through this? I am worried about delivering a healthy child, uterine rupture due to pregnancy so soon, how I am going to care for two babies so close in age, and a thousand other things. Anyone out there that has been through this, I would love to hear from you!

I'm 17 and I have taken the birth control pill on and off for very severe cramps. I finally found one that worked: Levlin, which I am changing to Seasonale (which is the same hormonal formula, just taken for 3 months, not 3 weeks). One problem: I get severe nausea during the day. I know why the pill makes me nauseous, it's just that I feel like I have to choose between horrible cramps and horrible nausea.

Any thoughts? Any advice on how to stop the nausea?
