My girlfriend and I have been together for over 3 years, but the last year and a half was spent in a distance relationship. Now that we're closer together again, we're able to have sex more often.

Lately, though we've been having a problem with a superfical sagittal tear that keeps appearing in the same location proximal to the most posterior portion of the vaginal opening. For those non-anatomists, if she is laying on her back, the tear is located just below the lowest part of the vaginal opening. The tear is no more than 2 cm and heals quickly after a few days, but I can understand that it is very painful. Because we are very active during sex (multiple positions during sessions), we're not sure when or how this happens but we're working on identifying it. We do engage in extensive foreplay, so we don't think it's a "not warming up properly" issue.

My question is, what can we do outside of sex to help with the healing as well as preventing this problem from ruining our sex life?

I hit my growth spurt when I was 10 and i was taller than everybody! that ended about wheni was 11 and now I'm shorter than most of my friends. I'm 15 and barely over 5'1 right now. My parents are 4'11 and 5'4. my doctor says that kids are usually taller than their parents though. Is there a chance I am going to get another growth spurt?

I have MAJOR cramps and heavy heavy bleeding the first few days of my period. The pain is so bad I ask to stay home from school. It's genetic, by the way.

My mother is saying that I should consider going to the gynocologist to see if I could get birth control pills so I wouldn't have such miserable times every month. I'm quite willing to do this, seeing as 1 hour in the doctors office could save me days of pain. (And my undergarments.)

I know that the most feared thing by most first timers is the pelvic exam. I want to know what to expect- the whole visit- and what kind of questions I will need to answer, so something I take to be traumatic could be a little less embarrassing.

Please help!

My mom recently died. She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer three years ago. The cancer had metasticized to her bones and she had a few spots on them. She was getting radiation treatment (in the beginning) and chemo until last may when her doc switched her to hormone shots and she got her first shots in June. Things seemed ok until last May/Junish. Around that time she started to lose weight and get weaker. In July she found out that the shots were not working and that it may have spread to her liver.

Well, in Aug, she started to deteriorate very quickly (dehydration, diarrhea, fluid build up, fatigue, loss of appetite, infection. etc.) Everything happened so fast that it really took my family by surprise.

She was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago and they took a biopsy of her liver, checked on her abdominal pain (they removed 2 lites of fluid) and looked at her intestines. She never woke up after surgery and we were told that she died of sepsis.

I am 41 years old trying to get pregnant for the first time. My menstrual period is usually 28-30 days apart. I am having infertility treatments by taking Repronex injections. The first day of my injections was on the 3rd day of my cycle. The last day I was injected with Repronex was the September 10, 2006. The first day of my last period was September 3, 2006. I started bleeding today, September 24, 2006, 22 days into my cycle. Why am I bleeding so soon? Did Repronex throw off my body's cycle? Is this a real period? Please let me know as soon as possible. Thank you very much! Diana

What do they do during a pap test? How old do you have to be when you should get one? Do you HAVE to have one every time you have sex? Do they give you one before you've ever had sex? What are they for? Do they hurt? Why do I need one? Why do all women need one? I'm 16 and I've never had sex... do i need one now? If so, than Why?

It should come this Saturday but I have an important event to go to and my first day of my period is hell. Any possible ways I can delay besides birth control pills? Don't care if it's unhealthy but I really need to. Is it true that alcohol and/or not eating right delays it?
