A few weeks ago, some white solid particles showed up in my throat. I can't swallow them or dislodge them by gargling or gagging.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed some "new?" holes in my throat that I've never seen before. Some of the white solids seem stuck in these holes. Since they appeared, my breath has been awful and my voice has become scratchy.

I went to my college clinic, and the nurse couldn't tell me what it was or how to cure it. Is anyone familiar with something like this? What could the white stuff be? And are there supposed to be holes in my throat?

plez plez iam begging someone to help me i have lymphedema in my left leg and its rele swollen and i cant fit into any pants,and iam 15 years old and i wanna go out places but i dont have pants!!! I AM ON THE URGE OF KILLING MY SELF!!!.

Someone just told me they have just been choked. They told me they have a persistent cough and that their neck and throat hurts..

I have not researched this matter. Would you think they need to go to the doctor, or is that the symptoms of being choked?

This is serious.

I'm 25/F Confirmed Diagnosis;I'm 5'6 350,I have; Arthritus (10mg 6x daily methadone),Sleep Apnea,High B.P. (Enalapril 10mg 2X daily),Restless Leg,Asthma,Lymphodema,Hyperhydrosis,Never ending pain in all joints, muscles,jaw. All of following worst on left side; Constant decreased sense of feeling/numbness every where worst from waist to under butt & inner thighs pelvic area,Stabbing/numbness in left back quadrant of head,Phsyically weak MUCH worse on left side.Had blood tests for cancer,liver,thyroid,adrenal,heart (adenesin test),cbc all good results,tests for blurry vision good as well however in dmv test where I had to answer as to which eye the blinking light was blinking in I had problems when it light blinked in left eye when the lights where nearing the middle towards my nose.) The chronic pain I've been told is mostly from my arthritus,however what is the relation of all the left side symptoms? Please offer you'r opponion so I can possibly help point my doc in right direction?

I haven't been hungry AT ALL for the past 3 days. I have had a lot of gas and heartburn as well. My burps have all tasted horrible. I haven't felt sick to my stomach and though I haven't felt like eating I still have ate normally for the most part. I have hardly sat down on the toliet to use the bathroom, and I haven't been urinating as much either. Anyone have any ideas?

My son just recently went to the Dr's and is now being refferred to a neurologist at Shand's hospital (FL). He had an EEG done & there was no abnormalities, but I really believe something is wrong. Can a child have petit mal seizures that do not show up on an EEG? I have been researching them & it sounds like that's what's going on. He will be sitting there playing with his toys (or eating, etc) & all of a sudden he wil start rolling his head side to side & his eyes go back in his head(like he can't focus), but he doesn't lose conscieness. After he is done (about 10-30 seconds) he will resume doing whatever it was that he was doing as if nothing had happened. He often loses balance & falls & hits his head or arms and in result he's always got bruises. The Dr said that they cannot see anything wrong with him & I dunno, maybe I'm just looking too hard into it. They said it could possibly be something he does for attention or out of habit. But nothing I can see triggers it. Help!Any ideas

I have acid reflux, and I am currently taking Prilosec OTC.
It doesn't seem to help, as I am getting alot of liquid in my mouth (even after I take the medicine).

So, what is the BEST medicine or way to help my acid reflux?

okay so heres a breakdown of whats happened i did some coke on saturday like to be exact less than a quarter of a gram like equal to 2-3 decent lines which isn't alot and i got to go to a drug test on thursday thats roughly 4 and a half days time in between and i dunno if my body will have it out of my system this is the first time ive done coke in about a month so my tolerance is very low and ive only done it like 4 times total will it probally be out of my system by then?

For the past five days or so, I have had a bit of pain in in what feels like my chest (pectoral area, closer to the center of my chest than left nipple, extends a bit above and below the nipple).

The pain is occassional and happens when I breate deep and sometimes when I turn over while laying down or when I reach for something.

Most of the time when it hurts, it feels like a sharp pain. Today, there is a "low level" dull pain almost consistent.

There is no shortness of breath, and today I have felt quite lethargic and even light-headed (might not be at all related). I took a nap and I don't feel the light-headedness any more.

I am a serious smoker (12 years) with a horrendous diet.

I am not overweight (5 ft 10, 180 pounds), but was quite fit as little as 6 months ago, before totally stopping daily workouts.

Past 36 hours I have cut down on my cigarettes (7 yesterday and 3 today so far, normally a pack and a half a day. Pain at worst 2 days ago after a 2+ pack day

Thoughts?

This is getting very old. It is a sinus, chest mucus cold that I have had for 3 months. doctors don't know what it is. antibiotics don't work. I have done massive garlic, ginger, vit c, water., wellness formula ( made by source naturals). Nothing works !! anyone know what may work?

This sounds weird but my legs do what they like and there is nothing I can do to stop them. I have walked into the path of traffic and I can't tell myself to turn. It like I head towards the kitchen and my legs will either walk me into a wall or just sit me back down again. It doesn't happen all the time but enough times to be of notice. Also I do have a back problem which started a few years ago and I don't know how that started or what caused it. Could this be connected?

Is this considered a hearing problem; my left ear has been feeling odd for the past two days it feels as if it has water in it (it does not feel wet or anything). My right ear is normal. Is this a hearing problem?

If I chew on something (ie:gum) i gag. When I try to eat a sucker...I gag. When I look at something totally gross I gag. When I think about something gross I gag (Like I hate taking out the trash because I think it is disgusting so I have my fiance do it) When I smell something I gag (something that might smell good or okay to another person totally grosses me out). Is there something worng with me? Is it cure-able?

This yr I turn 50 and I notice the cold weather when it got down yo 18 degrees my knees started hurting.My mom has it in the knees but she was about 60 .I had no problem till now!
