Okay I have seen a doctor about this, had an EKG and wore a heart halter and had my heart listened to, and everything normal. But for the past couple months and more so recently I am feeling heart "flutters" that kind of disturb me, some upper chest pains and occasionally problems breathing.

I have found the symptoms to be better when I "belch" which seems to be more frequent. I know that's gross but it seems to help. I'm still concerned, any ideas what I have? My doctor did these tests but then left it at that (and yes, I'm in the process of trying to find a new doctor, but right now not easy to arrange and so much going on with the holidays).

Most recently, a week ago almost, I picked up something from the floor and my heart went crazy- like beating very fast. I was worn out after that and it has been sore since. All of this is very freaky but as i said test results normal. Help? Suggestions? Thoughts? I don't seem to be having acid reflex- not tasting it in my throat anyway

I recently had my mercury checked and was told my mercury is high. Doctor said to eat no swordfish, dolphin etc. I never do. I do eat a fairly steady diet of wild freshwater fish. In the summer, trout, pike, bass, perch and sunfish. In the winter, mostly smelt and perch. Perhaps 5-6 times per week. Do eat a lot of nuts, beans and lentils but find I need a denser protein source. I do not have easy access to other protein sources. (Rabbit gives me the runs and I do not like the expense of bullets for deer or moose and I only have a .22 which is not big enough for bear. Occassionally I eat beaver and muskrat but only once every 6-8 weeks (only have a few traps)) Is there a way I can reduce my mercury without reducing my fish consumption?

I went to eat at a chinese restaurant today and took a bite of the eggroll. It had a funny taste but Im not sure if it was bad as it didnt smell bad. I know that it wasnt normal because I've eaten their eggrolls before. Im wondering if it was just deep fried in some old oil or something. Anyways, how long is it? I've heard 12 hours ?? Is this true? THanks/

A very close friend of mine recently passed away...she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease last april and since then has deteriorated drastically, going from 105 lbs to about 80. She was on an number of medications that I noticed wiped her out, and sometimes caused her to slur her words...any idea what those were? And is Crohn's disease fatal? Could this have caused her death or was it the medications (maybe too much for her small body?) She died in her sleep a few days ago and the ME said there were no signs of trauma to her body anywhere and couldn't find any cause so they are putting it to natural causes. Please help, and serious answers only. I am so distraught over my dear friend.

i don't know, i'm just out of it i guess. but sometimes my head or stomach will just start hurting randomely, and then i don't want to move. i don't know why. i feel like overused, i don't know, nothing makes sense today, and i just don't feel good in general. I'm tired, i ache... my mom isn't very sympathetic, i don't think she's ever been sick in her life (ok exagerating) but she really doesn't look kindly on this kinda thing. How can i break it to her, CAN i tell her? especially right before the holidays? what should i do, either to feel better, or to do so without anyone knowing i didn't feel good in the first place.

My oldest son, now 18, had slight hearing loss in one ear from repeated childhood ear infections, that is now significant hearing loss in that ear. They have now scheduled an MRI and CT to see what might have caused this almost total hearing loss in that ear. Do those tests seem normal and what might they show?
