Is h. pylori a Bacteroidete?

2006-12-20 07:43:26 · 1 answers · asked by C 2

I have been sick for the past few days, but my symptoms only occur at night. They have been pretty bad, including a bad cough, sinus aches and pains, and lots of sneezing. However, during the day at work, I feel basically no symptoms at all. Symptoms start at about 9:30 pm and are the worst when I wake up in the middle of the night and early morning.

I am interested in a detailed and scientific answer to this question. I have done a small amount of research on the topic and basically came up with nothing. If someone could possibly point me in the direction of a scholarly published journal article on the subject, that would be fabulous.

My fiance has been in a coma for over 3 months now, caused by a viral encephalitis. Every test they ran came back negative. The doctors have little hope and she is now on a ventalator in a nursing home. The family and I have heard that there is medications that can possibly bring her out of the coma. Does anyone have experience in this?? Has anyone been brought out of a coma and went on to have a normal life. She is 34 years old.

Can anyone tell me which is a more severe stenosis---grade A, B, C, or D, as determined by ultrasound? I just got back from having an MRA but won`t get results until who knows when. I`m not worried but want to know what I`m dealing with as far as any possible surgery. Thanks.

I have GERD and I've been having excruciating heartburn lately, despite being on Nexium 40mg 2xday, and eliminating all food/drink triggers from my diet. I've tried the usual dairy/milk to help ease the pain, but nothing works. At this point, I am taking pepto bismol, which isn't very effective, either. I've also tried other acid-reducers (mylanta, etc.) to no avail. What can I do to beat the pain? I am having an endoscopy done at the end of January to help figure out what's going on ... just trying to make things as comfortable as possible until then. Thank you!

I am a 19 year old female, currently unemployed. I cannot seem to get enough sleep, i can easily sleep 8-12 hours and when i wake up, i sometimes can hardly keep my eyes open! I keep getting headaches, am irritable and just feel i cant function properly.
I have been feeling depressed recently, but surely feeling down cant make me feel THIS ill? :-(

This past summer, I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I am actually on the low end of the normal weight range for my height, so I am now on CPAP. I feel much better (more rested, better memory, less irritable, and I don't doze during the day). However, I have noticed that I get congested more often. Sometimes, I lay down at night, and my nose is clear, but after a few minutes, I'm all stuffy again. However, I do have allergies, so that may be the reason, too. Has anyone who is/has been on CPAP had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Hi,
I am writing to ask about a problem my girlfriend is having with her eyes. It's happened a few times over the years and it's a matter of real concern for me.
What troubles me is that she suffers from a complete loss of vision in both eyes and feels as if she is about to pass out. She becomes very pale white and I have also noticed that she will break out in a light sweat. She'll have to sit down and then after a while, she is back to normal as if nothing has happened.
It has happened once at a concert and twice while standing in line. Last week she told me that she woke up and collapsed in the middle of the night on the way to the restroom resulting in really bad bruises.
I'm really worried about her and I need some information so I can persuade her to see a doctor. Thanks for reading this and I hope you have a great day! I appreciate all your help.

As a last minute decision I want to be able to go to Mauritius on February 2nd but as I've never been abroad before I thought I would contact my local GP's surgery and was told I have to go through a lengthly process of filling out forms and waiting to be seen! I then discovered on another website that I am at risk of yellow fever and malaria and that these immunisations need to be in your body for 6 weeks to be effective! I'm pretty worried now that i'm not going to be able to go after spending £1090 on plane tickets on a last minute deal. Ive heard there are emergency clinics that will do this straight away but charge you but can't find anyone remotely local. Can anyone help advise me on this. My partners step father seems to think I dont need any jabs to go to Mauritius but I have never ever been abroad before in my life. Someone please help, am very stressed and worried.
