My husband had it done about 3-4 years ago and now his vision is getting poor again. Just wondering if this was happening to anyone else because they did not disclose that to us. They said we may see it get a little worse at an older age but not now. He is only 34 yrs old.

My wife was diagnosed with optic neuritis in October of 2004. She was given an agressive treatment of IV steroids about one week post diagnosis. This treatment produced no results. As a result of the optic neuritis, she been left completely blind in her left eye and has been since diagnosed with MS. She is only 30. Is it possible that she may regain her vision in her left eye? We need some hope.

I went to the dr 2 1/2 weeks ago for a swollen feeling in my neck on the left side. He told me that I had a blocked gland from a virus and prescribed augmentin. I just ran out of rx on Monday and was feeling better no issues with swelling unless someone touched my neck. Now its been swollen again for 24 hours - how long before this goes away

For about 3 weeks now I have been having unexplained motion sickness, dizziness, vertigo and nausea. It is worst when I'm in the car. For some reason it seems worse in the late afternoon and evening hours. I have not yet vomited because of the dizzy spells, but I have had dry heaves a few times the past few days. The spells also come when I am working on the computer or even just moving around. Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong with me? At first I thought it was just a sinus infection that affected my inner ear, but it seems to be getting worse over time and my cold is gone. Even sitting and writing this, I feel like the world is spinning.
If it helps, I have never had this motion sickness before. Crazy amusement park rides and boats are some of my favorite things in life. Well, they were until this anyway. =(
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm kind of at my wit's end.

P.S. Please do not tell me to see a doctor! I have an appointment, but not til February.

I'm asking because my husband of 50 has Type II. Which means he has diabetes. They like to make 'types', but you have it period! He has alot of pain in all hours of day and night with his legs and feet. He has to walk like he's walking on glass if he has soft shoes on. He wears $300 diabetic shoes because of it. He has bowel problems on top of having to go 'no. 1' in the middle of night several times. My question is: we've been through SEVERAL doctors and he takes shots AND pills, but still has bowel (diarihhea-spelling?) in the middle of the night. That CAN'T be good! Plus his pain in his legs and feet! OH HELP!!

...........when it has a sedative effect and no-body gets violent on it? It can also help people with certain medical conditions. While alcohol is legal and causes people to become violent and agressive, causes lots of accidents, has long term side effects, and costs the goverment millions of pounds a year on treatments and cures for alcohol related illness! (('ve never heard of anyone being hospitalised due to over use of canabis)!

She's so disappointed. I think she has no problems but the answer of her experiments make her so. she is in diet & she has been in a hospital for a week. the doctor says only one of her kidneys is working for 18 % healthy but i again say she has no problems i think. in my opinion all she does depends on her moral, but i can't change it. How can she decrease the Creatinine & BUN? or is it any problem? i don't trust the doctors here, that's why i'm asking. just please help me with this cause i am running crazy with the way she behaves. she is like she's going to die! :(( i couldn't change her moral, so what's the way to decrease them? is it a good diet? what kind of diet?

I think he has developed an odd case of them. Monday night I discovered a strange rash on his face that I thought was poison ivy, the nurse from school said it could be chicken pox and sent him home, I took him to the doctor and the doctor's initial response was, "Those aren't chicken pox" he gave me a cream and said put this on, if it looks better tomorrow it's not chicken pox, if it gets worse it's chicken pox. The next morning I thought the rash on his face was drying out and I sent him to school. This morning I counted spots on his neck and stomach and it appears that he has a few more so I am keeping him home. This does not look like "typical" chicken pox.....and now I am concerned that the spot on his face may be shingles...any suggestions or advice would be great. I will probably get a "second opinion" from another doctor today.

A man came into my hospital with a deep tube coming out of his abdomen, and I think it has something to do with urinary and fecal passing, but could someone please tell me a little bit of what I don't know?

I'm a student-volunteer, and wasn't able to get ample info from the pros, and didn't want to be a pest.

Thanks!!
