I just had a dental implant placed in my upper jaw. A bone graft was done as well. I'm told I've to wait about four months before the tooth can be placed.
I was wondering what it feels like when waiting for the implant to fuse with the bone. Do you feel anything in your gums? I don't feel anything at all and wonder if it is normal. How do I know it is healing ?

I do not take any medications - just a multivitamin, calcium and Vitamin C which I have been on for the longest time. Dry mouth started about 2 months ago.

I have 12 teeth left on top. The 2 next to the ones in front are baicly gone. One totaly fell out when i bit into a apple danish the other day. That leaves me with 10 and all 10 of them will need filled and drilled and god only know what else. I get them cleaned and fixed but they just do not stay intact. I can bite into bread and they will crumble or crack. So what are my chances of convincing my dentist to pull them all out and give me some new ones? I'm so tired of dealing with this. Oh did i mention i just turned 28. which is why i'm asking. usually 28yrs old and dentures dont go together in the same sentence.

I'm talking very little movement. Like you can't see it all unless your very close to the mirror and your staring directly at the tooth and you see a verrryy slight movement when wiggle it hard with your fingers. Is that normal?

I've had problems with gum recession in the past (last few visits from dentists say I don't have gum problems anymore) but I'm worried a mouthwash will cause further recession

What do you think about these ingredients?

Water
Glycerin
Witch hazel (non-alcoholic)
Aloe vera leaf juice
Poloxamer 335
Spearmint oil
Menthol
Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)

It says alcohol-free but I feel a little tingling. Is this bad for my gums?

I had oral surgury over a week ago. I had to have a tooth removed from a root canal gone bad. The first couple of days were fine, but starting the third day things progressivly got worse. I am in so much pain that I have trouble eating or sleeping. I went back to the oral surgeon and he said that I had a partial dry socket he treated it with some sort of substance that he packed into the hole and incision. He advised that I should have no further problems and told me the pain medication (Vicodin) shoudn't be needed anymore..

I don't like taking medicine unless I really need it. I can tolerate pain pretty well and have not used medication in the past, even when having surgery, but this is bad... And I am being told everything is fine... HELP! Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
