Can you/Do you need to hook up the Wii with an HDMI Cable? I have an extra port for HDMI in my tv. Does it make a difference, or should I just use the wires that come with the system?

I've never played the Final Fantasy games, as I'm not really into all that magic/elves stuff. I had a game called Farenheit a while ago which I loved, but I finished it too quickly.

What I'm after is basically something with a good storyline and something that requires proper thinking to solve. But not something like Resident Evil. Any ideas?

I have to do a project for school, basically I have to write about stuff that I believe in. The topic I have chosen is obviously the question. I'm tired of people blaming video games everytime some teenager shoots some people at a school. It's not the video games fault, some people are just insane and gamers like myself shouldn't be placed under the knife for it.

So i'm writing my essay on the other side of the argument, how video games can be beneficial to our society and make people healthier, more adapt individuals

I've already got a lot of the essay done but I would like to hear the advice of some others. Feel free to chip in

I just bought:

playstation 3
HDMI to HDMI cable (6ft)
resistance
extra wireless controller

All for $690 brand new. I even had the owner of the store open the ps3 and resistance for me to play. Did i make a good deal? what you think? It is for my wife.
