This excludes cinnamon sticks. Also do you sprinkle cinnamon on like salt and pepper or does it need to be measured in tsps etc

I'm making a sweet potato casserole and the recipe says to boil the potatoes in a dutch oven... but I don't have one. I don't care if I have to buy one... but if I don't have to... I would rather save my money for christmas gifts... I have a regular ol' pot though... Will it suffice?

I have been searching for a GOOD mac & cheese recipe for years. I've tried a ton from websites-allrecipes, recipezaar, cooks.com, foodnetwork. They aren't any good.
Does anyone have a good creamy and cheesy mac & cheese recipe they would be willing to share?

Thanks!!

I bought a boneless Butterball turkey breast that has an included gravy packet, but I don't see the directions for the gravy anywhere. Does anyone know how to make it? I didn't see it on their website either....

This is my first time making a pie with the butter flaky crust. I have mastered making a cheesecake, and other desserts, but pie crusts usually do me in, so if you have any other tips or tricks, I would be most appreciative. Happy Holidays !

We usually do a mashed potato contest in our family on Thanksgiving. Trying to think of something different for this year. Already did garlic mashed potatoes. What's another flavor or creative addition that maybe I haven't thought of yet?

P.S. don't care for sweet potatoes too much...

My job has given me a turkey for thanksgiving and I was just wondering is 2 days enough days to thaw and what is the best way to thaw a turkey. I heard so many ways. I've always wrapped newspaper around the turkey and put in the frigerator 3 days before. Looking for the good healthy way.

I tried to cook cupcake using a recipe from magazine. The measurement was pretty weird. 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 3/4 cup granulated sugar. I used the same cup to measure flour and sugar. The cake turned up very sweet and I had to throw it away. Can someone advise if there is special cup to measure sugar? Many thanks

After seeing the answers to some of these questions about how long to cook a turkey feel like you better NOT follow advice or you are putting your (and anyone who eats at your house) at risk?
I just read someone tell another she was going to cook her 20Lb stuffed turkey for 3 1/2 to four hours @ 350.
C'mon yall it should be cooked 4.25 hours per lb stuffed. 185 degrees internal temp.
OMG!

Is there any way to make the sauce stick to the noodles. I remember having sauce with noodles but for a while the juice goes to the bottome and all we have is noodles with beef and tomatoes (yummy). Does adding oil to the water help with the noodles or what. By the way, using jarred sauce, like Ragu or something?
