i have a microwave which does not have convection cooking, it has grill. whenever i have tried to bakr a cake in it, it falls as soon as the microwave stops. I tried the recipe in the book which said bake on 100% micro power for 5 min. It rises well but after 5 min are over, above story happens. H"ow to keep cake risen like in convection

im now making the dinner i have on my tastefull french maids apron, but thats another story. im sick of cottage pie or mince in white sauce. hows about this mince and gravy veggies, then a layer of mash topped off with cheese sauce. or cheese sauce followed by mince and gravy topped with mash and a dab of cheese on top. i'm a really good cook its just i never use cook books i create as i go along but im stumped, ideas suggestion: many thanks for any input.

I had a head of cauliflower in my fridge, but the fridge was a little too cold and it froze. I turned the fridge down and it's been thawing out, but it looks like a different color now. Is it still good to eat raw, and if not, can I still steam it with good results?
