i made some chicken chili today(yum!) and i had bought some shredded cheese to go with it--i was in a hurry, so i grabbed what i thought was REAL shredded cheddar. but this morning i saw the package said in small letters "processed imitation cheese". YUCK. needless to say it tasted like...formed plastic cheese bits. sooo not like good real cheddar cheese.
does anyone actually like that stuff?

I am looking for a Tasty and Spicy, hot salsa recipe that you are able to can. I use the boiling method to can. I had a recipe that I used last year but when we moved it got lost. I remember that you used alot of peppers but the recipe stated you could use hot or mild peppers. Which ever suited you the best. I think the amount was 7 cups of peppers. But I can not find it again on-line. Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thanks!!

I have been married only 2 months. I am a pretty good cook, but I just don't know all that many recipes that I can work with! I was just wondering if anyone had any recipes they could share with me that are not too time consuming (no more than 2 hours to make or so... minus marinating) and consist of (perferably) chicken, beef, or pork? Besides that, I am open to almost anything! Just throw some ideas at me please! I'm finding i am cooking the same things over and over agian!

I absolutely HATE eggs. They just repulse me. The sight, smell, texture, taste. Especially when I'm hungover. If you had to pick your 3 least favorite foods what would they be? Mine are eggs, mustard and celery.

I'm not concerned about it's lack of flavor or anything else, I can fix that.
I just cooked some with just enough olive oil to cover the bottom of the pan, but it stuck to the bottom of the pan like no other substance. I believe that if I cooked it at a lower temp, it would never brown, but I could be wrong.
Do I need to use more oil?
Any insights appreciated.

I was thinking of making a cheese cake crust with cookie crumbs, butter and sugar and then for the filling I'd use ready made pudding mix by first cooking it as directed on the pack and then pouring it over crust, baking for a few minutes in oven and finally cooling. do u guys think it could work?
