I need to buy a good wine, and a good champagne... I need to know which are good ones. I want red wine. Preferably merlot, if possible. I'm looking to max out at $50/bottle. Any suggestions?

I've been invited to a Christmas dinner, and would like to know what type of wine would go best with either ham, or roast beef.
Kind of on a bugdet, so nothing too fancy.

I can't find it in the United States on any web sites. What I need is for people to check any liquor stores in their area to see if there are any stray bottles left on the shelf. The liquor is a marsala based drink with some type of egg extract. I know it sounds gross but it's delicious. The label will say "cremovo vino aromatizzato" possibly also with "all uovo" at the end. It's not expensive. I can reimburse you the cost of the liquor and shipping plus a finders and trouble fee. Any help would be appreciated.

My job requires random urine test looking for alcohol and/or drugs. I am going to a holiday party this weekend and was curious how long alcohol shows up in your urine?

Does anyone notice the distinct difference in the taste of Regular beer, and non-alcoholic beer? I do and the non-alcoholic beer is pretty gross. It's like a diet soda ,they 've taken the best parts out. The alcohol is an integral part of the process. It compliments the barley, wheat and other ingredients. You cannot seperate that which was perfect in the first place. I think if people want a no-alcohic beer they should just drink root beer or ginger beer. I think a non-alcoholic beer would go nicely with a vegerian dish. Yeccch. Anyway, I don't drink anymore but when I did it had to be real. There was no substitute. Cheers.

A lot of Limocello recipes are claimed to be the traditional style or whatever but they use Everclear. Surely Sicilians didn't have everclear until recently. So what did they use originally?
