Hi

I am in S.korea teaching, from ,manchester, and my fave drink is a pint of good ol' cider, magners/blackthorn, ANYTHING really...

...the problem is they have beer here, and spirits, and, ahem, alcopops, yes, they have hooch but no cider!!!!!

harsh

but as apples are plenty, and pears too i guess, i thought i'd just make some.

so if you could give me any good recipies/methods,
- as well as any quick ones (gaggin for a pint) it'd be much appreciated.

fizzy or not, so long as we can get drunk-ish and it tastes good!
-with no stomach pump needed!

please, any help is appreciated!
-Ed

In small-scale winemaking, the wine grapes are crushed by bare feet. Are these feet washed prior to crushing? Do they ever wear shoes or is it always bare feet?

Do proffesional athletes have a higher blood alcohol level than other people after, say 2 beers? If not, why do they feel drowsy after 2 beers already and find it difficult to drive after 5 beers while other people can still convince the cops that they are not drunk? Will the breathalizer/ blood test be affected for a sports guy after a beer, who feels the effect already?

i know that to help prevent a hangover you should keep hydrated. ive also heard that power ade helps because it replenishes you with electrolytes. so my question is: if i mix some shots of vodka in with a tall glass of powerade, and drink water through out the night. will i prevent a hangover?

I don't really drink that much, just once in a while, so I don't know many drinks. I love pina coladas, strawberry daiquiris, and mudslides. I also like Bailey's Irish Cream a lot. What non-frozen drinks would you recommend? BTW, I hate the taste of vodka, I've tried cosmopolitans and different flavors of martinis and I didn't like them at all.

My favorites are Paulaner Hefeweisen, Carlsberg, Augustiner and Guinness on the Draught. Currently looking to try new beers and diversify a bit, any suggestions and reasons for your suggestions would be appreciated.

Ummm, this is pretty self-explanatory. And if the pouring doesn't work the first time, keep pouring until it works!
