Singles & Dating - 11 September 2007

So there is this girl that I like. In previous questions I have asked, it gives all the details. Well she is older than me, by a year and our homecomming is coming up. I just met her like 3 weeks ago. We have been walking to class together everyday. I think she knows I kinda like her, but I don't think she knows it to the extent that I do like her. So we have been semi-flirting everyday and walking really close. Do you think I should ask her to homecomming?

Keep in mind that we do not date. I would like to, but I don't know that much about her yet. Plus not sure if she likes me at all. Right now we are just friends, I just dont want to be stuck in the friend zone (NO Girls that does not mean all I want is sex).

Women, How often does your good looks help you during the typical day? Im curious. A good friend of mine gets lots of perks. At Bars & restaurants she always gets exceptional service from men, at her job the men jump at the chance to assist her with her daily task, She always gets a great deal on automotive service, plus she never has to wait in Line for anything. Its not fair since Everyone cant be drop dead gorgeous. So Ladies, Do you get job promotions, free stuff and extra favors just because you were blessed with good looks? Be Honest Ladies..Please.

So theres this guy in my 6th period class and his name is forrest. Hes a senior im a sophomore. I don’t even think he knows I exist. I like him, but I just found out that one of my friends friend likes him also. Ive never talked to him but I just moved across from him until my teacher sent mee out of the class to make copies. I have just gotten divorced in 2005 and wasn't ready for anything. Well 2 years later I started to like someone at the job, well the feeling I thought was mutual because we talked alot he expressed his feelings for me until I made the mistake to have sex with him, now I seem not to exist in his world.. what can I do or not do to prevent this from happening again? I feel used and really don't feel like dating anyone for a really really long time.

i went to class this morning, i am doing maths and my friend clare who works in admin at the college she came into the classroom and said i am going into the cupboard, did she say that wrong, i think she should've said i am going to get something in the cupboard, anyway as she went in there the door slammed shut and hit her on the head, she wasn't hurt, but she was rubbing her head on the way out, i've been thinking about it all day and i can't stop laughing about it, yeah i did laugh at her when she did it and she did say was that funny or what, i like girls who have a good sense of humour

My fiance and I broke up a couple of weeks ago and I'm still depressed about it. I saw him earlier today at Applebee's with some co-workers and my friend literally had to stop me from going over to him. I can't help thinking of him because I still love him so much and wish we still were getting married but he broke up with me because of his daughter came back in his life and he said he needed some time to get to know her. I don't understand why he would hurt me because of this. My friends suggested I go out and meet new guys to help but I don't think it will. What do you guys think?

Hi, I am 24 and there is this guy at work, he comes once every two weeks to our office and so far we've seen each other maybe two or three times. I smile, he smiles, we've talked for a little bit here and there about non-imortant things...but even though he seems like a very shy guy, whenever I smile, he always seems to return his smile in a flirty way.

How can I find out, without making it seem too obvious of course, if he is single?

And if he is single, would it be okay for me to give him my number?

Any guys out there who would have an opinion on this topic please let me know. How would you feel if a girl would ask if you were single out of the blue, and offer her number to you?

This is kind of a peculiar situation: I'm a Junior in high school and there's a girl that likes me who is a sophomore. I found out she liked me when my friend (also her friend's brother) told me. I didn't know who she was, but I sort of developed an attraction to her. my good friend, who's really clingy, has started to be more aggressive in holding my hand. i hate him for it. so whenever he tries to, i just freeze. i let him hold my hand but i dont react a bit to send him the signal that i dont want him to be more than a friend. i actually like him a bit BUt with his history of one night stands im doubtful of his intentions. i think he just wants sex. he's a good friend and friend of my friends. i dont want to ruin our group friendship because of him, i dont want to hurt him either. what should i do?

My guy & I have been together for 6 months & the other day he told me that this woman he dated briefly called him with an attitude because she saw pictures of us online together. When they last saw each other he said he told her really didnt have time for a relationship but he actually wasnt interested in having a relationship. So she send me some nasty emails about them being together last night and some other childish mess which I ignored because I know she is lying and upset. Any way today I was on his page and saw a new friend so I called him and asked him about it, well I forgot that he didnt have his computer . I wasnt upset I was calm and he explained that he didnt know because his lap top was still being repaired so I asked if it was possible that someone had his password and then I realized I could be mistaken. So later he wants to talk about it and said he doesnt understand why I have to spy on him. Its a public website so how am I spying? Guys especially what do you think?

i'm in love with this perfect guy who loves me despite my flaws. it's just that he lives two hours away. i see him once a month if i'm lucky. i only talk to him three times a week for an hour but sometimes he's busy so i don't talk to him for that long and sometimes he doesn't call me because he has other things to do. i love him so much but i can't help but feel like he deserves better. he tells me that he loves me and i'm his first love. it's just that this relationship is so HARD because i barely see him. i was in a bad relationship before and now things are good it's just hard not seeing him.i don't know what to do. i know i should be grateful that i have him in my life it's just that it's really hard not being or seeing him. i only see him once a month. but not every month.

Help. My Friend REALLLLYYY like this Girl. However he's discovered she's a Jehovah's Witness.

He hasn't really got a belief, and therefore he is under the impression she'd never date him.


He understand certain rules, like no dating Non-Believers and No Sex before Marriage, and Dating is meant to be with the view of Marriage in the Future, however this is a young age, where Marriage is beyond Dating currently, and Sex is no problem.

What should he do? He really wants to be with this Girl, and he feels he may have fallen in love, can anybody help in this TOUGH situation?

alright i went out with this girl and we dated for 2 months. a week ago she says she needs a break because her school started and its really stressful and she needs to get used to it and she isnt used to being in a relationship while in school. she said its only temporary. I asked her if she wanted her stuff back and she said no. we were texting one day and i needed to talk to her about a problem i was having and she said i crossed the line and i need to give the key back. so i said fine then give me back all of my stuff and ill give you all yours. i went up there this morning and returned the key and we talked about it and i asked her if she wanted to get back into this relationship again and she said well talk about it. when we left we hugged eachother and she gave me a kiss on the cheek i then kissed her. any thoughts on what i should do? what i should have done? any thoughts on how to get her back? serious answers only please.

Okay so a long and somewhat pointless story is coming up but hey, I'm randomly picking an answer for 5 stars! Points! So in english class I sit behind these two girls and next to another girl, they all seem to be friends. Today just randomly one of them asked the girl next to me "so, have you seen any hot guys yet?". Then another girl said "I haven't really seen any hot guys yet, I'm so dissapointed". THEN the girl in front of me said "hey what about that guy you sit next to in english" and the other girl said "yeah that guy you sit next to in language is pretty hot" or something. Then she looked over at me and was like "oops, did you just hear all that? blush blush." and she was smiling like she wanted me to hear it. SO are they just messing with me or what. It's not like I haven't been called "hot" in the past so I know I'm not UGLY. They do seem flirty in general with different guys.
