Friends - August 2006

When I told all my cousins and friends I was pregnant about 7 weeks ago, they all wrote back saying congrats and offering help and support, and being all great about it. Then 2 days ago I had my 1st ultrasound done and shared it with the same family and friends again. About 14 of them replied back to the ultrasound. How about the other 20 people? Is it perhaps they didn't check their email yet, or are they too busy? I mean 20 people haven't replied. Let me ask you guys is it necessary to reply back, I would guess it's a nice thing to do, but is it necessary? Do they look at the baby's pic and just see it and say ok, don't feel the need to reply back? Is it something I should mind, or just don't worry about it, it's nothing?

Because i don't drink or smoke i hate hanging out at nightclubs or bars. I don't mind it every once in a while but not a few times everyweek.What do you think i should do? Is the only thing students are interested in is getting hungover everynight?

this person has not had a girlfriend, as far as i know, but i do remember that he did court some girls when he was in high school. but after seeing the pictures of men in his computer, i'm having second thoughts about his sexuality. i mean, other guys i know keep pictures of naked and masturbating WOMEN in their computers... and that's what guys normally keep in their computers, right??? So again, if a guy keeps pictures of clothed, naked and masturbating men ( and no women) in their computers, can their be a possiblity that he is gay?

(I prefer females to answer this) I know this girl for a couple of months and I’m not sure what’s going on.We were cool for the first three weeks, but it changed ever since she got back with her boyfriend.She would barely talk to me when we’re in class and she stopped saying hi to me.But when we go study together,shes back the way she was during the first three weeks, energic and talkative.It doesn’t sound like her bf wants her to stop hangin out with me cuz she still went studying and hanged out with me two other times after she got back with boyfriend.Long story short, the semester has ended for about a month now and I haven’t spoke to her since.
Did she lose interest in me even as a friend after she got back with her byofriend?Should I call her and try to hang out again?Do girls usually lose interest in a person even as a friend after they gotten into a relationship?

So I have been a little annoyed with one of my closest friends.. She is constantly making plans with me and then breaks them. Sometimes she will call and break them, otherwise won't bother even doing that. I know she is busy, but so am I. Whenever she needs a friend, the first person she calls is me, and I kinda expect the same out of her. My boyfriend and I are going to be getting engaged soon, and she is constantly saying she should be my maid of honor. I am starting to rethink this, however... What do you think?

I am befriend with her past 2yrs and before 4 mths found that i am in love with her. But i think she is not thinking that way she is just my best friend from her own point of view. My life is going nowhere i m engrossed in emotions so that i have to resign from my job due to lack of concentration. If i propose her major chances are that she will turn down my proposal. so here's a headache for you: my friend's going through this whole ordeal where she wants to go live with her father (parents are divorced) and she is 16 so she legally can, but her mother's really fighting to keep her so she has this whole court thing.

recently, she had sex with a 20-yr-old pot dealer (who she gets not only sex from, wink wink) and he's like this good-for-nothing dirtbag, and she's been pretty out of it this whole summer.

sure, she doesn't like her mom, but i--and others--feel that her father doesn't keep a close enough eye on her (she steals his cigarettes, gets pot behind his back, etc.) she told me she's doing all this in retaliation of her mother, which i think is very childish.

one of my other friends thinks we should tell the authorities about the pot and underage sex. the only thing is that she'd hate us forever for it, and plus, she wouldn't testify. is there any way to at least have the police know about it/take action without solid evidence? HELP! thanks.
