My friend is super competitive. He is always competing with me. He competes with me about things like how straight his teeth are! He also has a big bragging problem. What do you think i should do?

I have a male friend who I have been friend with for 10 years! Both of us got marred 3 months apart! Since then we have both had a child (2 months apart) and talk every once an awhile! My husband knows him well and trust me talking to him! My husband is my BEST friend! I would still however like keep my relationship with my friend of 10 years! Here's the problem, his wife doesn't tell him when I call! I have tried being friends with her and invited her over! My friend stops by whenever she isn't around to chat with my husband and I or to bring his child over to play with ours! What do I do? Recently I called to talk to him and she answered his cell phone and told her to have him call my husband back and if she would have told him I KNOW he would have!! Any advice?

I dunno, my best friend and I haven't been spending time together ever since he met this girl (his first). And I don't think because it's that he's "in love" (well, this could be very well so) or doesn't want to make time to spend with buds and only with his girlfriend. I think seriously that the girl is quite possessive of him, she hates me, and doesn't want him to spend time with me. How do I find out? Can I? Should I say anything? What should I do?

Josh and I have been best friends since freshman year four years ago. Last year, I chose to study abroad, and it just so happened that my away-school's spring break was right around Josh's birthday. Okay, so I didn't go home *just* for his birthday (for families and other folks), but I live in a different state from the school, and I set a few days aside to celebrate Josh's 21st with him, since I thought he would appreciated it. He did, he said that. Okay, so it's fourth year, and it's my birthday. He spent time with his girlfriend instead, didn't even say "happy birthday." Do I have a right to be mad or hurt? He always said how he appreciated me coming to celebrate his 21st, but he going out to dinner with his girl on my birthday instead, that was like a stab in the back, you know?

My friend has been dating this one guy for 2 months now. He is friends with my boyfriend and we (without her) went to check a hog trap and he said that their relationship might not last very long. He was thinking of ending it with her. So i spent the next few days trying to convince her to break up with him. She wanted to work it out. So finally i told her the whole story. She broke up with him and has been in a depression ever since. She is on zoloft already, and it obviously isn't worknin. And she turns the smallest little things into a big deal. She saw him driving down the road (they live down the street from each other) and she freaked. How can i help her to get over him and to get over the drama queen act. I can't totally express how dramatic she is over the internet, you just have to meet her to know how bad it is. It is really bad. I am getting so frusterated and i don't know what to do. All she wants to do is get drunk. I don't like drinking that much. How can i help her?

my ex bf broke up with me but i still go to his house, wash his clothes with mine and cook him dinner. We still have s*x together. We talk everyday on the phone. We see each other once a week and the whole weekend. He told he that a girl from work likes him but she's not his type of girl so he won't go out with her. I ask him if he thinks that we will ever get back together and he say that he don't know and if he gets a new gf he don't want her to be jealous of him like I was and to be 21 so she can go to the bar with him and his friends i will be 21 in a year and a month. He tells me that if he don't have a gf that when I turn 21 we will go out as friends and maybe more.

The reason i ask is, one of my best friends is a real womaniser, we go out together usually once a week for a laugh and to really chill out, while we're out he (Not Me) does occasionally chat up other women. My Partner hates these nights out with my mate and this is a source of constant argument between us.
Should i give up these nights out? am i being unreasonable? I really enjoy these nights out, which are nothing more than a chance to relax and unwind, or should i forget the amateur psychology here, adopt the caveman mentality and just slap her into line?
Should women influence men in their choice of friends in order
to ensure a man's loyalty? Do women ever really trust Men or do we really need guidence?
