My parents divorced like idk....11 years ago or so. Me and my sisters were close with my dad. Since he remarried like 7 years ago he hast been supportive or even acknowledged us in any way ..really. I asked him a while back why he aint a supportive father.. I said is it your own personal choice? or is it the choice ur wife gave u? He said both. How can someone live with that? knowing the picked their wife over their own kids?

* Aside from this I do have a extremly suportive realtionship w/ my mother and step father.. just thought I'd add that.

he has diabetes and we are worried he could get a stroke. he did not know his mouth got like that untill someone seen him. he talks fine, but we don't know if it has something to do with the diabetes or it is coused by the change of temperture, or something else. we know people who had this problem and their mouth went back to normal, but because he has diabetes we are concerned. please help sonia

My mom is 49 years old, I am married and 25. My wife and I are trying to have our first baby and my mom has mentioned that she is too old to be someone's grandma.

She says that she doesn't feel like she has the time to be a grandma because she likes to hang out with her friends and live her life. Now she has a new boyfriend that she spends every waking minute with so I rarely see her.

I don't want her to take care of my baby, I just was hoping she would be a grandma to my kid since my dad is dead. (My parents divorced way before he died).

I am her only child so my kid will be her only grandchild. I know I can't force her to be a grandma if she doesn't want to be one, but what do I do?

Can't she live her life AND be a grandma? I don't need her help with my family, I just wanted her to be somewhat involved.

What do you think?

She is 3,and there is never a time that people on the street don't notice her.People will take fhoto of her and touch her alfro hair and tell her that she's pretty.At times i feel like i'm a mother to a superstar.I'm so concern bout how she will behave when she's bigger.Sometimes she is sick of the praises and will give one look at strangers.I'm so worried bout her character.Will she be spoilt?Anyone who experience this,do you have any tips on how i can train her to be more polite?and how can i bring her up with grace.

sometimes we wait to late to go see those we care about or call them on the phone just to say Hi or I love you you never know when a loved one will be snatched from you. My 28 year old daughter was murdered 11 months ago and one of the things that I hold in my heart is that even though we sure had our ups and downs the day she died I'd decided to give her an early Christmas gift a new winter coat I was mad at her on Monday as we were arguing about her BF and on Tuesday i decided to go see her and give her the coat she loved it kissed me said I love you and 8 1/2 hours later her BF killed her If I hadn't decided to go see her and the last words we'd had would have been in anger I would not have been able to survive this if you love someone tell them today call your parents, your kids, your grandparents, your friends, whoever don't wait until it may be too late God Bless You All

Ok so i'm almost 19 and I'm seeing this guy. We're getting married and he has a daughter that's almost a year and a half. Her mother is a two face. (We all went to school together so i've known her for three years) She acts all nice to me then talks **** behind my back. That doesn't bother me too much, but this is what does... My fiance gives her $310 a month. She gets WIC but only works part time. She just bought a new car so she makes that her first priority. She will call my fiance and if he doesn't answer she'll keep calling. One day she called over 60 times within 15 minutes. She said she was calling because she had no diapers. He gave her 50 a day prior to this phone call. He gets her every weekend. Yesterday he got served. She's taken him to court for child support. She keeps telling him his daughter isn't even his. She thinks this is all a joke. So what do we do now?

Well, my mom wasn't impressed at all, she didn' even congratulate me, she just nodded her head with no facial expression. Even though I've improved my grades drastically and this is the highest I've ever been. She had promised to buy me a cellphone, and no she denies it after I showed her my grades. Look at them. Don't you think I ahve good grades.

young..i really never got to know her...now we talk on the phone and email..she puts herself down EVERY time we talk..and is a doormat and always negative..it's wearing on me..i try to help her be positive but nothing helps...should i tell her and exit..or keep my mouth shut? she's in her 70's...it's dragging me down...help!

why me!!? nobody knows how much it sucks to be me! i have to go on idiot camping trip with 1-7 grade girl scouts! im gunna die! im leeving tomarow afternoon! i have to sleep in a tent with my parrents, younger brother and sister! my dad snores! i hate kids! i hate my sister's friends! i am too old for this! im in high school now, but my parrents dont give me any independance! im bringing ipod, and gameboy, and my brother will keep me company, but its not enough! i cant call my friends because my friends hate me and idk their numbers! i have to do lame girl scout workshops! i quit GS a million years ago! what am i gunna do?!

my gf sister has been staying with us. She walks around with very little ,if any, clothing on. Like when she gets outta the shower she'll lounge around in a towel watching TV. On more than one occasion I've had some very nice views..and when she is hanging out in her room, she'll be lying there naked on her bed watching TV or reading or whatever with the door wide open. She acts like nudity is no big deal... walking in on me in the bathroom or shower.. she even got in the shower with me saying she was in a hurry (we only have 1 bathroom), but when my gf is home she doesn't act this way. I mean during the day she might be standing there naked washing her sex toys in the sink and at night, when the gf comes home from work, she's all dressed conservitively. I'm really getting confused.. does she want me or she just getting off by teasing me?? Its driving me nuts walking around with a hard on all the time... at least until the gf gets home...lol

But just about every year!! My birthday is the 8th & they almost always think it is the 9th!!!! How mean is that..?And then they think that like if they give me more stuff then I will forgive them..? And they never even say sorry..they just say " Oh, well the 9th was your due date..BYE!" And then they leave to their own partys and fun!! Are they really mean..or are they what they say the are "VERY , VERY, VERY BUSY"..?

Well, my parents don't think so. Thye constantly complain on what a horrible daughter I am, and how they wish they had a daughter that loves them and treats them with respect. I am completely agaisnt them. I think they should be proud to have me as their daughter. And it amkes me feel bad when they tell me these things. I always run to my room and scruch up in a little ball in my bed and cry myself to sleep. I'm not like other fifteen year old girls that are giving their parents hard times. They are having unprotected sex, dating guys that aretoo old for them, smoking, doing drugs, drinking alcohol, going to wild parties, doing bad in school. And yelling at their parents. And you ahrdly ever hear them complaining. And here I am... The complete opposite of these girls. I get pretty good grades all A's and 1 or 2 B's, I never get in trouble. I've never had a boyfriend for god's sakes! And I love my parents alot, and I try to show it to them. Yet they wish I wasn't born.

It was introduced in the Monroe High school in the suburbs of Detroit. It was an awesome show.!!! Please ....Watch it tonight at 11pm if you can..It's awesome! what do u guys think? I have been thinking about this for a while now...Why are HS students in clicks and bullying fat kids, or calling other kids names and being disrespectful...?? Finally the HS challenge could change one student at a time all across American....I think it's great...Every high school should introduce this in their school...Wow So many of these kids, actually all 64 of them were very unhappy and holding things inside and living with stress..it's very hard to live that way...What are your thoughts?

My parents don't even let me go to the mall with a couple of my friends (just because one of them is a boy) and I have no feelings for him in that way. He is more like a brother to me, he is one of my really good friends. My parents know him. He's a good kid. I am 16, but I was 15 when I wanted to go to the mall with two of my friends. I haven't even bothered to ask anymore because I bet they will say no.

Oh also another reason besides him being a boy, he is black. And my parents claim they are not, but I think they are racist. They got mad when he use to call me a lot. We have no interest in each other other than just being friends. He has a girlfriend also. My parents don't listen to me.

On top of that they didn't let me go to my friends revial at his church because it is a black church. And before you try to tell me that wasn't the reason, my mom came right out and said that.

Do you think my parents are racist and over protective?
I already know my views on the matter but

One of my parents has no respect for me, or the fact that I'm an adult. He hurts me verbally, puts me down, makes unfair conclusions about me. He basically doesn't interact with me the way a loving, caring parent does. One day he even told me he doesn't care that his words hurt me, and that I needed to be hurt. What is his problem? Any advice for me?
