My friend hat I have been talking about in my questions lately is very depressed lately. He found out that he will be having back surgery in a few months and won't be able to be the actine person that he is for a while. he is pretty depressed about that. his back hurts more than it ever has in the past this week. tonight i am going to his bday party and I want to try to cheer him up a little. when i saw him last night i reminded him that i have had a rough week also and he wasn't alone to try to cheer him, up, but i don't think it worked. Any suggestions as to what i can say or do tonight at the party to try to cheer him up, because when i talked to him on the phone this morning, when I asked him how he was, he said that he was the same as last night, depressed and in pain. PLZ HELP!
it is breaking my heart to see him like this.

but in away Im lost on if were soppose to betogether or just hang out buds either way is ok with me but latley I dont think he even whants to even hang out he knows were I live I keep on flirting with him I think that makes him nervouse but I cant help it.problem is were chat buddies and I don't know if he is flirting back or its his roomates doing it to keep my mind balanced because all work and no play makes.............you now were im going with this I know now I cant get one straight answer from you guys till the end so im trusting my inner guid Im just going to go back to selective hearing .but then again every time they play with me theres more than meets the eye and then it turns back on them with a lesson of the day

i honestly HATE mine.
the have just plain ruined my life.
if i say hi to then . somehow i am offending.
anything i do, like walk into a room, i am doing itthe wrong way.
it is a constant battle.
and i am always crying.
weve tryed family counciling and all that. noting works.
tis has gone on for 7 years.
when i move out of the house i am loosing contact with her. no joke.

Is her rebound relationship going to work if she keeps contacting me? I don't get it! She said she understood that I don't want to remain friends unless she wants our relationship to work. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I'm also not going to stand on the sidelines while she dates other guys. We went out for nearly ten years. she did not believe in marriage. She emails me on average once a week? If she's happy with her rebound, why bother contacting me? And she obviously does not understand how hard it is for me to move on when she keeps doing this. As her "best friend" you think she'd understand this. She got really upset the other day when I said to stop emailing me unless she drops rebound guy and wants me back. I can't keep going through this back-and-forth with her, unless she realizes I'm what she wants, and that's not going to happen with me in the picture, weather she likes it or not! About 12 to 13 years ago this guy had a crush on me when we were in school. I was w/this other guy though who I ended up marrying. We were married 7 years & just recently got divorced. Like 2 weeks after our divorce was final I ran into the guy that had liked me years ago & we've been talking ever since...he says we ran into each other for a reason. My ex & him knew each other...they weren't close friends...but they hung around some of the same people so they were cool w/each other. Anyway, I am attracted to this guy too but he's not looking to be serious right now. We've hooked up a couple times. He wants to be fwb first so we can be careful & take it slow. I don't want just casual sex. We had a talk the other day about what to do & he says he has feelings for me but he hasn't been calling as much as before & now I just feel like he doesn't like me as much. Why would he put me thru this when he knows what I just got out of(my husband cheated) Why would he hurt me also?

Well like most guys I guess I'm kinda keen on getting a lass. I'm 26 and average-looking. But both of my legs were amputated at the hips last year (road accident), leaving me wheelchair-bound. I guess I'm just wondering if girls would consider going out with a guy in a wheelchair with no legs? I haven't tried with girls since my accident. Be honest!

i was at my friends house. and we were watching the packer game. it was getting late, i had school the next day so my mom called me. i was in the basement with no reception so i didnt know that she called. a while later she called again and i answered and cut out. then she called me back extremely pissed off because i didnt call her back, so she grounded me for the weekend.

I thought that was unfair, so last night i got mad and decided to go sledding with my friends without telling my parents, i told my brother to tell my parents after i had left. after sledding, i went to my friends house, and myparents called and told me to come home at 12 but decided to sleep over insted

my parents took away almost everything. i had a trip planned to go to florida to see my best friend, and now they wont let me go and im grounded from everything except my computer indefinetely. i cant leave my room. i can live with being grounded for a month, but i want to see my friend more than anything. :(

Here's the situation, my husband works for his father. The summer of '06 we lived in Maine so my husband could work and we'd still be together as a family unit. Before we left we were told by his parents to give up our apartment and when we got back they'd arrange for a place for us to live. The place they "found" for us was their old house that had been on the market for 3 years and not sold. The house for all intense purposes was left abandoned during that time and in various stages of disrepair.

We've now been here for over a year, we're expecting our third child and they've decided they're going to put the house back on the market again. They drop by unannounced all the time just to complain about the state the house is in. My children are 6 and 2, they can't honestly expect the house to be spotless can they?! I've been biting my tongue in regards to them for the last 4 years and I feel I'm about to burst. Is there a "nice" way to tell them off with out being evicted?

My friend's financee is very controlling and manipulative, and he caters to her every whim, no matter how unreasonable. He supports her 100% financially and waits on her hand and foot. It's frustrating to see him work so hard. His friends and family are baffled by his choice.
