My b/f and I were planning to get married this year, but we have mutually decided that it is just not possible due to a change in our circumstances. It was not going to be a big wedding, just immediate family, so I can deal with the actual cancelling of the arrangements etc, but the sadness I feel inside is really over-whelming and I am finding it so hard to deal with the disappointment and loss. We are still together as a couple, but I am finding it hard to be happy at home, my spark has just gone and I can't find anything to smile about (I know that is terrible when there are people out there with bigger problems, but I can't help but feel down), can anyone offer any suggestions on how to cope with this?

Being serious here. I do next to nothing in the house. My wife actually wants things this way. I try to help, she just redoes everything anyway, so I usually go to the gym, or watch football. Hey, if she wants it her way, fine by me knock yourself out. Only thing I do is vacuum a few rooms which takes about 7 minutes.
She really gets off on cleaning, I think she's a little type A which is actually a benefit.
Hey don't anyone be mad at me, she likes it this way.

Only thing is, I rarely show appreciation, should I buy her a card or something ? I mean It's the least i could do right? spend a buck or two on a card?

Let’s say that you were friends with this ‘average guy’ and he made you laugh and put you in a good mood. Now, he approaches you to go out with him on a date. But we cant stop arguing.I am 16 and she's 40,we dont have a generarion gap,she's open minded.I am the best student at school,or anything that i do,i hang out with a nice crowd!But t's either my messy room,not wearing clothes she fully approves of(although she pretty much likes the way I dress).I know she is too concerned about me and she does it out of her love,but it is soul-out-wearing.....I know I am wrong at everything and it is my fault if we argue.I love her so much and I can't take this anymore.She and dad are the people who I would give my life for....

I'm 80% sure she is ready for the next step, the engagement, after almost 1 year of dating. She is 28 and I'm 32 (we are not teenagers). Can you suggest sublte ways of finding out that she is 100% ready? I dont want to ask her straight forward, if you know what I mean. Also, what are some sings that say she's ready? I know 80% is already very reassuring, but I'm afraid that if she is not ready, I might just scare her off.

Hey

My friend needs some help, or at least asked me to ask something for her. Myabe shes shy to do it herself.
