I just read a study in a medical journal about rape. the found that in countries were prostitution is legal, the rape rate is significantly lower that in countries were prostitution is illegal. The correlation between legalized prostitution and decreased levels of rape was significant. According to the statistics, if prostitution was legalized in America, at least 25,000 rapes could be prevented every year. Do women feel this is a good reason to legalize prostitution???

I've known this guy for 2years now and he isn't nice to anyone. And for the past 4months he is being nice to me like we talk alot non stop. And we share the same interests and last year he wasn't nice to me. Now he is saying hi and he's never said that before and he is also saying see ya on monday. Maybe it's just me, or maybe I have trouble saying no when I am "volunteered" for things. I feel so overwhelmed sometimes, to the point I want to run and just cry. Everyone tells me that it will make me a stronger person... To simply state reasons I feel so overhelmed, I am a full time mom of two boys (7 and 5), a full time wife, I work full time, I am in college full time, I am a cub scout leader, and active in a couple committees at work. With it being the holidays, it just weighs on me. The 17th of Dec. will be one year since I lost my step-dad, whom I considered to be a daddy to me since I was 5. His daughter shut me out right before he passed because she hates my mother. He and my mom divorced when I was 14, but he still remained a daddy to me and later a grandfather to my children. Is it just a normal thing that the holidays bring people down? I am just so exhausted, I could really use some tips on how to cope with all this.. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thank you

This guy molested me daily for about two months, till finally I threatened to tell. Now he is starting again and I want to know why?? It happens with both him and his friend now. Will they eventually lead to rape??
Should I be worried?? Would many guys actually do this??

They come by my locker and feel me up every day after every period. I am afraid to tell cuz no one will believe a gymnast over a jock. Why didn't they stop liking me after I turned them down??

My friend says this is not molestation, just normal behavoir for guys. She says no1 will believe me so don't waste my breath. They even follow me home after practice.
Why do they do this??

Ok around 6 months ago, I was walking along Park Avenue in new york delivering my packages( I'm a messenger). When I stepped on a pothole and twisted my ankle. Extreme pain. After the initial shock, I tried to walk on it, and this 25 year old women I didn't even know began to help me walk and carried my packages for me. I couldn't believe her kindness. She spent two hours out of her day, to make sure I got home safe.

I felt really flattered, why do girls do this. I don't think I would have done the same thing.

anyways, im 15 and this girl on the bus who sometimes talks to me was looking at me alot and smiling and messing around with me (as in laughing and acting a little annoying, but she seemed pretty concentrated on something, idk), and she sat in front of me with her chest right in front of my face, then she sat next to me and looked at me and kept saying my name and her friend sat in front of me and started it to, and it was kind of annoying and kind of weird, what is up with that?

We're on different teams. I seen him today and just said something. But I panicked. I said, "Are You Tyler Cundiff?" He said, "No." I have 2 admit, I did choke. When he said no, i just walked away. Anything else to talk about other than that idiotic question? Is there anyway we can at LEAST be FRIENDS even though we're on different teams but in the same grade? my fiance and i have been working on budgeting our money better. This will be our childs first xmas and we both have teenage siblings and other kids that we are planning to buy gifts for. My fiance (who makes more money) wants to get them games consoles and expensive items that most people would more than likely buy for their own kids In the past (before moving in together) i have brought my family expensive gifts or whatever they ask for but this year i said i would limit my shopping since our little one is growing so fast it seems like we are shopping every month My fiance is a very generous person who likes to do nice things for others without recognizing his limits and i dont always want to disagree with his spending for my soon to be in laws but in my opinion he always wants to over do it. so what is a reasonable amount to spend on each child for holiday
