I have been married for 7 years. My husband and I have four children, and he is the only one who works. I have to ask him if I can use any money.
Today when I told him that I wanted to rent a carpet scrubber (which is only 20.00) we got into an argument and he accused me of "blowing his money". I hardly ever buy anything for myself. almost everything I "blow money on" is for the home, and are trivial . For example, I "blow" money on....the "good" toilet paper, decent haircare products for myself (think Dove not Paul Mitchell), and I bought garland for my Christmas tree which were 3.00 a piece (I bought 3 of them).
I have asked to get a job for almost 5 years now, and everytime I bring it up, he tells me that it is not the right time, I should be home with the kids, he doesnt want them in daycare, it is pointless because I will make no money after childcare costs, etc....
I am at my wits end at this point. I dont know what to do anymore. I feel like I am living in a prison.help!

when I was in high shcool I liked boys when I left I never saw those boys again I went college and I like some boy not in college but I saw him usually on my way back home way to college in at his work place, I was liking him and all, I got angry with him though it was his fault, now Im doing a course not at college and theres no boy to like no one, I saw the boy I like who I got angry , and tired to do something though he wants nothing to do with me any more ,

ok, so my guy and i have been dating over 3.5 years. we're both 24, and we live in NoVa. thing is, we both live at home with our moms because they are both single moms and we cant afford a place around here on our own, this area is WAY too expensive. we've slowly been saving up for a place, but its not really getting anywhere. we dont like the idea of an apartment because 1. we cant find anything we can afford without getting other roommates and 2. we dont like the idea of just tossing this money away when it could be going towards equity in our own place.

he has a full time job, about 42k a year, i work 2 part time jobs and am still going to college, but i only make 25k a year TOPS.

i really want to live with him, and now we have a dog thats legally mine, but living with him. i am at his house until 4am every morning because my mom wants me home and his mom probably doesnt want me staying there every night without paying rent or something, but i dont want to live at his

i may be getting divorced pretty soon and would love for someone to explain Maintenance to me....did i screw up? Before i got married i was well off on my own...had my own house and decent (not great but decent) job and then i got married and had one child with him (i had one before) eventually i quit my job and became a full time at home mother...well...things havent been going on good for a long time now and 2 months ago i got a part time job doing what i did before...is this going to hurt me in the long run? Thank you all for your answers. I understand that in order try and concentrate on my marriage (trying to save it), I have to leave this other person "out" which is much easier when I am not around her, I TRULY try to keep her out of my mind but when I see her at work from time to time, is like all the progress I have made during the week goes "down the drain." In the past, with women who have made advances towards me, it was purely physical (sex) but this time, it was different. She wen after my heart and I guess because (as some of you mentioned) I was vunerable and "love-starved" I developed "feelings" for her. I REALLY don't want to feel anything but I don't know how to make it stop because when I do see her, it all comes back in a flash. THis situation is driving me nuts! I wish this other person would leave NOW and never come back. Why did she have to "mess" with a married man? Yes, she may have not known that I was unhappy in my marriage but I was still married. I get mad!!!

I'm a 31 year old mother of 3 children , two girls ages 9 and 2 and a 2 month old boy. My husband is a over the road truck driver and is home once a week for maybe a day and an half to 2 days. I feel that since he's away all week, that it's important that he spends time with the kids. Also, I work 3 days a week, so when he gets home, I'm ready for a break from the kids. My husband is usually asleep before the kids go to bed at 9 pm and then the baby doesn't sleep through the night yet. He always asks me why I didn't wake him up after the kids go to sleep, but he never gets up in the middle of the night with the baby when he is home and so when the baby goes to sleep...I go to sleep.
Does anyone have any good suggestions?

I married my bestfriend of 2 years about 3 months ago... i havent seen him in about 2 mths because he is in the marine corps ... when he was in basic (bootcamp) he wrote me everyday telling how much he loved me and much he wanted to marry me and have children with me it made me so happy to read that he told me to stop taking my birthcontrol cause we wanted kids so i did i went to his graduation and he was so in love with me he always was but i could really tell ... anyways sept. 1st 06 we were married and happy he was so happy and then he had to go back to cali for schooling and i couldnt go but the thing is , is that there are girls there and he told me there is one he likes a lot but he loves me ... he doesnt know this girl and she doesnt know him and now he wants to go home with her for a few days before he comes home to me and this is A LOT of stress i dont need cause i am now 6 MONTHS PREGNANT WITH HIS SON...
