I just found out my husband had an affair. He tells me now that they are just friends. The things that she does and the way he reacts to anything dealing with her suggest that they are still fooling around. My husband has sworn that they are not involved in that way anymore. Can I believe him, should I trust him? Why if they are not involved anymore why won't she just leave him alone and let him be with me and our daughter? She is making our life a living hell. What can I do to make her leave and for him to pay more attention to me and my daughter? Please help I don't know what to do. I love my husband very much but as long as she is around we can not have a normal relationship the way we used to. What should I do?????

I always have problem attracting guys. I don't know what is it about me, seems like most guys are not interested in being in a relationship with me. I'm shy but i am friendly, i'm average looking, somehow i am unable to attract guys, only very very few and usually i am not interested in them.

How can i be more attractive?? I desperately want to know, i'm willing to change for the better. At the moment i really have no clue. I'm tired of waiting and being single. The guys that i am attracted to are not interested in me but the guys that i am not attracted to are.

Should i get into a relationship with a guy i am not attracted to? Recently there is this guy, he likes me a lot and is really nice to me... what should i do? Should i keep waiting for the "right" guy?...

I've fallen hard for someone, and then caught them with someone else. They promised me it wouldn't happen again...then it did. So now we've separated. It seems that a young couple had just gotton married and spent their wedding night with the young mans parents.

In the morning the mother got up and prepared a lovely breakfast, went to the bottom of the stairs and called for them to come down for breakfast. After a long wait the family ate without the newlyweds. The mother said "I wonder why they never came down to eat."

The groomes young brother said "Mommy, I think..."

"Oh shut up I don't want to hear what you think!" said the mother, not wanting to hear any inappropriate comments from the younger brother.

At lunch time the mother again prepared a wonderful meal and again called the young couple to eat. After another long wait the family proceeded to eat, and after the meal was completed the mother once again said "I wonder why they never came down to eat?" Once again the younger brother started to speak, but was interrupted by the mother.

At dinner time once again the mother cooked a very elaborate meal, had the table set perfect and called the newlyweds to join the family for dinner. After another long wait the mother once again questioned why they had not come downstairs all day.

The young lad once again said "Mommy I think..."

"Well what is it that you think?" asked the mother rather irritated.

"I think that when my big brother came down to get the vaseline last night, he got my model plane glue instead."

My wife left me for a few reasons, mostly because I wouldn't show my affection/love for her enough and my priorities were wrong. Long story short, I had been trying to change the last few months of our relationship into someone more caring and loving and am still changing and have made a lot of progress. However, it was a case of "too little, too late" so she left me anyway.

I've spoken to her and have told her that I've changed in leaps and bounds and am ready to be the man she wants me to be. However, she's pessimistic and believes I am incapable of change and that if I do so, it will only be temporary so she is unwilling to give me another chance. I'm quite confident that this new identity I've discovered is the "real" me and I'm happier this way. How many of you are pessimistic about your spouses ability to change and why? How many of you have changed and are glad you did?

As a side note, I want to share that people ARE capable of change, but they have to WANT to change.

I hope some one out there can help me? Next year I am getting married to the guy I have loved for a long time. We been together two times before and this time we feel that we have grown up more which its true we have but.. it's important to have a job I know that but the way there are lack of jobs now days and where I live at there is hardly no jobs in this area except fast food. He wants me to get a full time job work 40hrs aweek. He has been putting so much pressure on me to get a job I have been trying really hard.. and where I use to live I never had a problem until I came down here. My family thinks he should calm down because he told me he would postpone the wedding if I don't have a job.. I can understand what he is saying but I am really struggling to find a job!!! He seems like he wants things his way or no way and it seems some times he puts other things before me...there is so much more to the story but I don't want to waste anyone time.
