Like I said....I have only met her once. Now she is searching for a relationship. She calls and tells me she loves me, but I am not as free with those words as some may be. I want to forgive.....but I have a family now and I want to be a mother to my children. I even asked my mother who my father was and she couldn't even tell me that!!! I asked her why she left me with Grandma.....and she told me because granddaddy tried to mess with her. I understood her....but it made me mad because he did me that way too. Except he did not just try.......he did what he sought out to do. That bothers me because she knew how he was and left me there to be taken advantage of!!!!

Is it possible for a girl to love a boy but not be "in love" with him while dating?

Because i know she truly does care for me, and I care for her more than i care about myself. But she is busy (with good reasons) and rarely has time for me. I know if you are "in love" with someone you NEED to be with them and you make time, at least I do. So is it possible she loves me in a different way. Which way is better? Do you think it will last?

My brother's (older) is tweeking and being so protective, because my friend hinted that I did a lot with a guy last night (which I did). The weird part is that he usually jokes about everything and I have never seen him be protective before, he even asked where he lived (not that I told him). He's cool that he won't tell my parents, but I'm 18 and he's 25 I would think he would be over that, or am I wrong?

Was seeing a guy.....went great, lots of contact, got flowers, phone calls, texts....I was feeling pretty secure with the situation.
He's a "nice" guy, I know his family, and I dare say i was beginning to fall for this one.
So, He left a couple of weeks ago to be at school, as he's finishing up his last year...he'll be home every 2 weeks.
For awhile, he called and texted as usual, and our conversations were lengthy and fun....
Then it all seemed to stop. First, three days went by, and I figured he was busy, and called him. That was fine- things seemed normal....now it's been days again since that conversation. I called last time, so I feel like I should wait it out.
But each day that goes by, I'm doubting this whole thing, and I feel sad about it....
Should I start to accept that things are going downhill and move on? Should I call again, or wait for him to call me?
Since it's a new relationship, would it bother a guy, or seem desperate if I asked him why he isn't calling

we're going to a way-over-the-top wedding at the end of the month. its a night wedding and black-tie optional. We're struggling with what my son should wear. He's not in the wedding party but will be handing out programs. I guess it feels like it'd be easiest to have him wear a tux...he doesn't have a full-suit (and the shoes are a problem) and he'll probably destroy any suit he did have over 6 hours of partying and dancing at the wedding (and tux rental places count on having to clean them). But is it acceptable for a boy of that age?

My mother is 50 years old.

She has been divorced for 15 years.

She has not had a boyfriend in 10 years!

She has been on 4 dates in the last 5 years, but she didn’t think they were good enough for a 2nd date.

Men just don’t seem to find her attractive, she is very bitter over her divorce and doesn’t have much of a life.

She says her next husband must: have his own money/house, a good job, a devout Catholic, have no baggage (kids, ex-wife), must not want to spend all his time with her, etc.

She cannot find a man with all the qualities!

She says the only way she will go out with someone is if they are a friend of her friends.

But all her friends hang out with married people!

AND, she tells me she is jealous that I married before she did!

I am in my mid 20’s and its my first marriage!

What do you think? I don’t think she will ever get married!

I do not feel comfortable with that, yet, I have agreed to it. A part of me is still not trusting her and I am imagining sex going on between both of them. Another part of me wants to trust her ao I've agreed to it eventhough the thought of it kills me.
