(my husband works, we have 4 kids, he keeps the only car, taking it to work his 10-14 hrs/day-5 days/week, we live paycheck to paycheck, kids just qualified for reduced lunches at school, there is no public transportation)----should i be concerned that my husbands just gives his mother $50-100 each month for shopping before i even have a chance to pay the bills? the last two months, i have had to skip a car payment just to offset his generousity. she calls crying to him each month that they are broke, living on my father-in-laws disability and retirement. i have more than enough wisdom to know that the woman does not know how to budget money and goes to the malls to shop for junk she doesn't need, just an impulse of hers. and he has never borrowed money from them, so its not like he owes them money compensation. i have respect for them, but think he shouldn't just give her so much money. i don't get to shop at the malls and my kids have to wear thrift store and walmart clothes.

I grew up as a tom boy with several male platonic friends. Now as a married woman, my husband forbids me to contact any of them. Some of these males I have known since I was a kid, and my thought is that if they really wanted me as more than a friend, they would have made that obvious at some point in the last 10-15 years. My husband firmly believes that girls can be friends with guys, but guys can absolutely not be just friends with girls.

Is that why sex slows down so much after marriage? Do you get a "recharge" of more sex when you want to have a baby?

Something different than flowers. What's a good gift, in general. I don't know her that well but there are certain things that always go over. What do I do?

We had to travel quite a distance for the event and are not well to do. what is considered a nice gift or is the fact that we got here gift enough. We have brought along little gifts for the baby but are concerned that we are expected to give a "big" gift

I don't understand this... I have 3 friends who all have married their spouses within a year after meeting them and then are devistated when their marriage doesn't last. I try so hard to be sympathetic to their needs and I do truly feel sad for their situation, but I can't say that it shouldn't be expected. I feel this is why the divorce rate is so high in America. They marry young and they marry fast after meeting. Like I said, right now I have 3 friends that are greiving... how can I be sensitive to their needs as well as being honest with how I feel about how they went about it? All three friendships are very important to me.

Ok, i am a girl in high school and i have a tiny prob. There are these 3 people who pretend they are my friends. There is this other person who is my BFF. Those 3 people are (not real names) Jojo, Anny, Tara. So Jojo, told my BFF Zoni, that she hates me. Zoni told that to me and i said that Jojo should say it in my face. So today Jojo came up to me with Anny and Tara and she said it inot my face. ok. Now what i should do? I mean can you suggest a payback or something. Or something that really bugs any person. Anything. Or just be all nice to her but never get my payback? I need help!
