My best friend and me are in an argument right now. She let someone use her cell phone to text me something that was not very nice, lets just say the text included the ***** in it. She thnks i should apologize for stop talking to her and i think that she should apologize for letting the person write it. People who are her friends keep telling me that she wants to talk to me but she is letting her pride get in her way. Then my friends are telling her that i want to talk to her.So what should i do?

I really like this guy I work with and we went out a couple of times as friends. We were both definetly flirting but now I don't know whether to just continue playfully flirting with him or tell him that I like him. He doesn't seem as interested now as he did at first and I'm not sure if its because he has lost interest or if he thinks I don't like him (since I never tried to kiss him or anything). This week he hasn't flirted with me like he did before, but he is still being really nice.

Texas 47 yr old man remarries in same state, has a 3-yr old child. He owes back child support, 12,500+ arrears. Kids are now mid 20's & living in another state where their mother lives. He's been unemployed for the last 1.5 ys. He's lazy and dislikes work. Current wife makes over $70K yr. She's been the sole provider all this time w/ no financial support from husband. Husband is about to receive inheritance,approx $15K,in a few months from his deceased mother.She named the 47 y.o. man beneficiary of her retirement/pension. 47 man says he's going to put the entire amount in his father's name as a gift & into father's bank account. He does not want Atty General, ex-wife or current wife to touch the money. He made plans to spend all of it on himself w/o even considering his 3yr old daughter or wife. Wife is fed up! Isn't current wife entitled to half after divorce? Can the TX Atty General take whats owed? & IRS What's the process & what channels does it go through before distribution?

well first of all, I don't hate you. second, I haven't been avoiding you either becuase its not been just swimming that I've been busy with its been life.I also haven't been beating around the bush because you never asked me if I did or not. Now it is obvious, she doesnt want to be more than friends, but my question is, is that because she is scared( she doesnt want to ruin the frienship,) or because she just doesnt like me

The mother of my partners ex-wife has passed away. The ex-wife and I are not on good terms, yet I empathize with her situation as my own mother has passed. I have never met her mother, but I feel I should send my condolences simply for the loss she's experiencing. My fear is that she won't sense my sincerity and think I am doing this for another reason. Any thoughts on whether I should send flowers or a card or just do nothing.
