Television (Entertainment & Music) - 3 August 2006

I've been watching DOOL for over 20 years, and never have I been as disgusted with the show as I have been over the last year or two. What are they doing to these characters?? And what is up with all the rehashing of old storylines? Can't they think of anything original? I thought they finally got it together when they killed off Zack, but that was short-lived. Haven't they ever heard of couples facing trials TOGETHER? Why do they have to break up everyone that's supposed to be together? Why do they have to drag everything out for so long and show so many flash backs all the time? Why do the bad guys keep getting away with what they've done? Is anyone else out there fed up and looking forward to the new writers? I'm surprised Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans even came back to this crap!

Whatever happened to actor Richard O'Sullivan?

Richard O'Sullivan appeared in a number of 70s and 80s sitcoms including Man About The House, Robins Nest, Me and My Girl and Doctor at Large. But then he just dropped out of sight.

Why do sitcoms use laugh boxes instead of actual people?

At least I think they use laugh boxes. If you pay attention to many different sitcoms today you can hear the all of the laughs are identical. And plus they laugh at all the jokes including the lamest ones.
