I am tired of all the rude people around when I go to the movies. I have tried ignoring it, confronting it, but nothing seems to work. Last night I saw "World Trade Center", and besides people laughing inappropriately at the wrong times (which I will chalk up to being uncomfortable with the subject matter), people were talking throughout the film (one guy was translating into Spanish to his wife), several people opened up cell phones to check the time (which displays a distracting very bright glow at their seats), someone was kicking my chair near the end of the film, and the couple next to me were talking and fondling each other throughout the film (the fondling part is OK but would you really do this during a movie about 9/11?). At the start of the movie, the couple on my other side were talking, and I looked at the woman and said, "you know, he's right" as if I were conversing with her. She was so flustered that they shut up the rest of the time. I don't know what else to do! HELP!
