anyone out there know a safe, no nonsense website one can go to to submit movie pitches(preferably for free)? i have tons of ideas and nowhere to go..thx~

I have a question regarding cinematography. In the last few years, I have noticed an increased use of this technique, which I find rather distracting from the movie it's self. The lights in the movie-the lights on set where they are filming, NOT the lights in the THEATRE- will dim down and back up. Not go out completely as it sometimes does in between scenes...the effect is the same as if someone were fiddling with the dimmer switch on the spotlights on the movie set and it happens repeatedly throughout any one scene.

It is definitely an on-screen occurance. Some people have thought it was the projection equiptment, but I see it on DVD's too. What is up with this???? What is it called and why do they do it?

I have "Kill Bill" DVD's part 1 and 2 on my table, should i watch it? Is it worth my my time? It is almost 3 hours of movie, is it really worth it, should i spen the whole evening watching it?
