The female lead was a mother of two kids and she went west to make money. She worked as a ranch hand and went gold hunting. The were two male leads one was Andy Griffith and the other one played a gambler in the movie. The woman got elected sheriff. Does anyone know the name of this movie?

In order to get the through the first stage you must know the answer to a question concerning the movie "Her name is that of a bird." The answer, Roberta Ann Sparrow (aka Grandma Death) but I have typed every variation of that and am coming up empty handed. Someone has asked this ? on Yahoo Answers before, and although it was resolved, the answer given is incorrect. (it says to enter Sparrow, which I have done plenty of times) Frank isn't on my case to figure this riddle out, it's just driving me crazy!Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I mean Kate Bosworth is 23 but in the movie she has a 5 yr old son and is an established reporter, doesn't quite add up to me.. Who did you want to play her? I would have liked someone who, herself, is established in her career, and strong and independent, which is not the way I see Kate Bosworth. Also, a natural brunette would have been nice.
