If a woman talks about her "girlfriend," is it now a foregone conclusion that she is a lesbian discussing her female romantic interest, or can it just as likely still mean "platonic female friend" like it used to?

I've looked it up in several online slang dictionaries, but they never have very clear answers. So, could someone please tell me the meanings of these words/phrases?

1.) Cor
2.) Taking the mickey
3.) Coo (Koo? Ku? I don't know how to spell it, or even if it is a real term, or if it is just a variant of "cor")

Just three... I'd appreciate all help!

I've been looking into learning Arabic, however, I can't seem to figure out which dialect to learn. Pimsleur has audio programs for Eastern Arabic and for Egyptian Arabic. Also, Rosetta Stone has an Arabic program and I don't know what dialect that is. How should I choose a program to learn Arabic? I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light on the different dialects and which one is the best to learn.
