I need links or a way to get links to get them. Help me, I'm broke I've signed up for some may scholarships and haven't gotten one so I'm trying it again. People say there there are tons of random scholarships out there but I haven't seen one. May be I don't know where to look. I live in the US.

My plans are to enroll into St.Joseph College Seminary in the fall of 2007 and begin studying for the priesthood. I have done serious discerning for about a year and feel this is where God wants me to be. I have also felt compelled to explore the prospect of priesthood since at least 8th grade. I fully intend on completing all four years of education at St.Joseph's while I continue to discern the call to the priesthood. Although I am very excited about college, the cost for four years at St.Joseph scares me (it’s about $130,000!!!!!). This extraordinary high cost is due to the fact that I'd be required to double major, i.e. studying Theology/Philosophy and Social Science Education (specifically European/U.S. History, and Sociology). Since I'm not rich at all, I'm going to need a lot of financial aid and scholarship money. Please give me any information that could help me. Thank You and God Bless You.

I completed my Bachelor's degree with a 3.99 GPA (straight A's but one A- lowered it slightly). I am wanting to go on to get my Master's degree, but I don't think financial aid will pay for graduate school. I was wondering if anyone knows of any resources where I can find out what scholarships (if any) are available to me. I am white, so I can't apply for minority scholarships, but I was hoping that there might be something available for those who maintained hig GPA's during undergraduate school. I appreciate any help I can get on this. Thanks so much guys!

I'm about to get promoted and that means I'll get paid a little bit more, will it effect my Federal Aid for college this year or in the future?

my school lowered my financial aid substantially this year and I need a loan to pay for school. My problem is that my parents refuse to co-sign- so I have no co-signer. Are there any student loans that are easier to get than others? I really need to pay for school! I'm already working myself to death to pay for rent and food and stuff...

I've heard that if you work within the teaching or social services fields with a certain percentage of students below a specific income bracket, you will be credited for a certain amount of your federal loan debt. Is this true, and if so, how do you get enrolled in the program?

Only problem is that i can't really afford to rent out thats why i commute to uni everyday. i was thinking to live out in my first but don't have enough money although i have seen one ffordable place but that still considers me to travel. Or on the other hand i could save up this summer and look for a place to stay out next year with some friends.

I have approximately $30,000 in federal student loan debt and have completed a BA. I would like to go for another undergraduate program. It is only a one year certicate program in web design and costs approximately $14,000. I live in Pennsylvania. I thought I heard you could borrow up to $42,000 for undergraduate study. Is this true and do you have any further details?

Plan to go back and become a math teacher. Have 2K in default from 1995 (paid some) which has grown to 4K. Want to go back in Jan. Current income will qualify me for aid, need to clear default.

1)I saw where you can make six payments of $50 (or whatever your income qualifies) and default status is cleared, is this true and how long to clear

2)Family willing to negociate the balance, if paid how long to clear default then?

Also, should this financial aid correction take till summer semester am I hurting anything by taking a class or two in the mean time. Get a jump on my maths I am going to really need them.

PS- I am in Florida, they have a teacher critical need program, any idea of how soon that can start?

On my FAFSA, can I put my grandparents down as my parents? Although they never had custody of me (mother did) when I was a minor they raised me and supported me financially entirely on their own, I lived with them my entire life. If I must put down my birth parents (who were never married) it will not be a true indication of my EFC and I will definately see a smaller loan or grant amount. What do you recommend?
