Dining Out - December 2006

I first tasted the "Cajun shrimp with pasta" at Max & Erma's restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. I know that chain is not present here in LA, Cali but would like to eat that dish nonetheless. Its a white sauce pasta and if you have had it you know what I talk about. Can anyone tell me of a place here that offers the same? Anyone?

We ate italian around 9pm tonight and left it in the car until 2 am, the temperatue is about 50 degrees. It is spagetti and 5 cheese fettachini. How long does food usually stay good, and do you think we left it out too long?

A group of friends and I are going to New York City and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to eat a nice dinner. Somewhere not too expensive (but not cheap either somewhere in the middle) because I don't want to put anyone on the spot if they don't want to spend alot of money. Mediterranean fast food would consist of:
Souvlaki, Donner, Falafel, Pita, Greek salad and other similar foods, and the meat used to make the "sandwiches" would be mainly lamb or chicken, while the Greek salad would consist of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, feta cheese etc..

Went to a national food chain (starts with H) and found a hard brown/black small hard lump in my burger. I spit it out and I am not sure what it is. I is about an inch long by 1/2" tall and roundish. My first thought was animal poop. Nededless to say I did not eat anymore. Do I bring it back, save it or try to figure out what it is. How would I even find out what it is? Any ideas would be appreciated.
