Consumer Electronics - 17 October 2006

I have the tungsten e2 palm and I'm having some problems. My input screen has randomly stopped working in some parts. I can not touch the ABC or 123 keyboards or use the Menu or Search buttons. If I want to use the Home or Favorites buttons I have to press on the Menu and Search buttons.
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it? I tried realigning the touchscreen but it doesn't go down that far. Am I going to have to take it back? I've only had it since July and I started having a slight problem with it in the begining of September.

If you could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

hi, i have a keyocera se47 other wise known as the slider v5 and i dropped it and there is a huge crack in the faceplate. i was going to replace the face plate but then i noticed that there are little blue dots on the screen that interfere with the graphics. would that be fixed if i replaced the face plate?

OK, I'm in the market for a new TV! I'd like one with a DVI input so I can hook my computer up to it and play games or DVD's or do slideshows presentations and whatnot. Obviously clarity is very important to me, but so is size. I'm been comparing prices and I can get a 51" rear projection HDTV for about the same price as a 28" LCD. The rear projection is attractive because of the size, but I am worried about the picture quality compared to the LCD. Which should I go with and if you can recommend specific makes and models and distributors, that would be great. Thanx.

I've got two questions. First I lost my cell phone and have already went through lockline, reported it lost and recieved a new cell phone. I have a feeling though that the phone might not be lost but that my room mate's friend might have stolen it. Is it still possible to activate my phone even if I reported it lost/stolen? I have the TERK TV32 antenna and it receives signals from all the stations which broadcast in HD however for some of the channels after like 40 seconds the viewing becomes bad because signal keeps getting lost and then coming back so basically what happens is if someone is speaking on the television it would sound like this Today.........degrees..................showers.............7 day outlook. Its really frustrating is there any way i can fix this?

im getting a new phone after christmas. and i want it to have a camera (flash is good too), video, maybe mp3s and all that good stuff

I have a 19 inch tv That turns off usually after about 10 minutes, I have to unplug it sometimes several times before it comes back on then It will turn off sometimes after 1 min but usually always after 4-5. Someone said to check the Hi Voltage circuit I have worked on electronics for years and fairly knowledgeable but just not with TV's specific circiurts. any advice.

I changed out my hard drive because it was acting up. I didn't get the chance to install my palm software on my new hdrive as yet. Then my palm batterry died and I lost everything. I still have the old hardrive on my computer, but i do not know how to sync and back up my old info to my palm t-3 from the old harddrive (which is still connected, but no longer primary). I am thinking that all i need is the location of the file folder, but i don't know what to do or where to start. Please help.

What are the real differences between them? I compared them through some review websites but I don't see noticeable differences besides the prices. K750i is cheaper by $100. Which one should I choose? I aim for a durable, great functionality and user friendly phone. I also love a small phone with big screen. What’s the difference between K and W series? I don’t really care about music player, so is it a waste to buy W series?

Do you think I should look at Nokia too? I heard Nokia is very durable and user friendly. From the review websites, with the same features, Nokia is more expensive than Sony Ericsson. Moreover, the Nokia phones with big screen usually also big.

Today I was trying to take a picture of 5 deers that were crossing the creek and all that shows in the camera is their eyes reflecting. I want to know of a good camera that would let me take great pictures at night, even at the moon! Or from far away at night like 1yard away. If theres any anyone knows of, let me know please.

I may be on the wrong site for appliances, but does anyone know if you can have a upright freezer or frigerator outside in a shed? My frigerator was in an outside shed and I tryed to keep the door semi closed for ventilation, but when the heat came it stopped working. I now close the door somewhat and it has been working. My question is: Are appliances subject to cold and heat?

Am I able to remove songs from my iPod nano? I didn't pay attention when I plugged it in, and it just automatically synced songs!-THAT I DON'T WANT ON IT!

I have iTunes, so is there a way to remove it from the nano, back to the library, or...even if I never get it back it's okay. I just want to get rid of the song!
