I recv'd answer to go to 'open int. expl. click on advanced tab at top & check BOTH boxes that say "Disable Scipt Debugging & click box 'Display at Notice about everyscript error' & close. I don't know how to open up Int. Expl & do all this, I can only apoligize that I am so 'DUMB', this is my significant other's computer & I use it for E's from him & his jokes he sends from Iraq for me to share with our friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help me somehow??? My friend tried to access her E's from his computer & literally screwed everything up that I know about. H E L P me fast

I brought my laptop two years ago and the audio works not too well since sometimes i have to restart my computer to have the audio thing work.. i went to the manufacturer they said there is no problem which i think they are bs-ing.

but just yesterday the audio device is disabled (i didn't delete the device or whatsoever!). I can still hear the sound and music in winamp. But if i go to some site, lets say youtube, it was playing but with no sound. and then i clicked the audio device at the bottom right it says "there are no active device available..." and it asked me to reinstall the device. but when i went to the device manager, it says the device works properly.

BUT when i clicked the sounds and audio device in control panel, everything is in the dark (meaning they dont allow you to click anything) I just want to know what's the problem with my computer, what can i do? sorry for the long story :(

Example u can remove the top part of the picture(NOT erase it) and the picture becomes smaller.Free and no virus.

i finnaly figured out what the errors(blue screens ) that i keep getting have in common they happen when i install a new software program evrytime i get one of these messages

Kernel_stack_inpage_error

it tells me that that to fix the problem to eighter stop the cashing and shadowing of my memory in bios exactly how do i do that

I have some microsoft office 2007 documents and I have microsoft office 2003. How do I view these 2007 files????? I tried the compatiability pack that microsoft advised to download, but it always says "this is pre release and you should check for updates, if i press "ok", if shows me the thing i just installed ( no new updates) and if i press "cancel" nothing happens. Please help

Hello all

I am trying to edit some JPEGs of mine and I don't know how I can cut off one half of the image and save the remaining half as a full image. (and not one half picture and one half empty space)

Can someone tell me how to do this? I have Adope Photoshop Elements and Paint on my computer.

I tried a simple uninstall & delete of AVG;
At XP startup it tells me that my licence has run out (it has but i dont intend to renew it) so i:
- ran setup.exe -> Uninstall program -> apparantly successful but a restart tells me the licence still needs renewing
- Remove Items in Ctrl Panel -> it went to same setup.exe prog, same result
- tried deleteing the whole AVG folder -> Access Denied, some exe & dll files are apparantly write protected or in use (in admin)
- stopped avg processes in task manager
- try first 3 again, no progress
- restart in safe mode, try first 4 again. AVG was not visible in ctrl panel and processes not running, however i still cant delete the folder (access still denied or in use)
- deleted grisoft and avg folders from docs&settings/allusers
- try first 3 again, no progress
- update 7.1->7.5 (DLoad->AVG site) ->retry all the above
- used regedit to delete AVG from ctrl panel -> removed from ctrl panel but cant delete, access denied. Any other ideas?

I bought a new hdd, installed XP, then Outlook 2007. I would like to take the account settings I have in Outlook 03 on the now secondary drive and transfer them to the new drive with Outlook 07. Seems easy enough but it's been a huge pain so far. All the accounts on the secondary hdd are POP3 accounts. Any help would be appreciated.

For example, I have tried to mount my flash drive (/dev/sdb) with types vfat, ntfs, and udf and mount replies that these are the wrong filesystems. I can read this flash drive in windows, so it's an fs that windows understands.
