Software - February 2007

What is a good, easy to use accounting software? I need something to use for my small business, to invoice customers and I'd like to be able to print reports with it also. I am using Peachtree now and I would like to get away from it because it has been so much trouble. Thanks in advance.

every time I click on internet explorer it says, "this program not responding" I don't know why this happened, it was okay a few days ago. Also if & when I get Explorer back how can I get the Informatiom Bar? I'm realy confused about all this, & please no smart aleck responds, I don't have much experince with computers.

my trial just expired. i got a new trial key right now, but the activation dialog box that comes up, doesn't come up for a trial, it comes up for converting to the product. Is there a way i can have a second trial? Do i need to uninstall and then reinstall?

I am looking for a simple easy to use software to use for my small business. I have Peachtree now but I really hate it. I mainly need something to prepare invoices for my customers and maybe print monthly registers. Do you know anything about Turbocash software? Which software do/have you used for this? I'm looking to upgrade my version of Windows on my Laptop. When I run DxDiag it says I have Windows XP Pro. The box says Window XP Home. Yet the website where I got my Laptop from says it comes with Windows XP Media!!

So, I'm confused and want to upgrade the correct version of Vista.....can you help?

Out of nowhere, it just happened that I can't open the EXCEL file in Thumb Drive. It shows "Cannot Read File" warning.
Do you know if it's even fixable or not somehow. Or that file is completely dead? Please help me ~!

When ever i open firefox (1.5 or 2.0) it does not work, nothing shows up, however IE works, in FF all it says is"done" in the bottom left corner, but the page itself is blank.

I'm on a powerful alienware laptop which I bought in June last year, it is not dual core but considering it cost £2500 I'd guess it's meant to be quite powerful, but still it never runned fast, it took 3 minutes to get to the log on screen, and then a further 2 to start up my user, and all I have on startup is MSN, Trend Micro and a couple of other small progs. I guess a format might help, so I would back up everything, but wondering what the best OS for me to go to would be?

Currently I'm on Media Center, I can buy Vista, or go to Win XP (Not sure which is faster Pro or Home)
