i want to scan a desired folder automatically 1 minute / 2 min when i download a file which i set a seperate folder for downloaded files when im connected to the Internet.

bcoz i can prevent viruses etc ... without entering my system.

I intend to throw an old computer away and because of the possibility of identity fraud etc. I want to be sure that the drive is absolutely clear before I do so. Is it good enough just to go into "Add/remove programs" and remove everything or is there a more thorough way of doing it.

All my apps run slower..probs with e-mail access.advantages of tabbed browsing problematical. Yes I know I can 'system restore' or download 'firefox' etc. But why is it slower with error messages on exiting etc. Is this poss due to third party software on my system? Help!

iI have a liteon dvd_r/rw burner and i know u can erase disks that have RW on it but everytime i try to erase one of my dvd+r/rw disks it keeps on saying read only im using maxell dvd media is there anyway i can erase it or format it .. i forgot to mention i used the disks for videos

Previously i was using Win 98 and there i would use MSCONFIG to remove the unwanted applications from task bar. But in now i have win 2000. If i give MSCONFIG from RUN, its now working, i.e., win 2000 have some other way to do that. Can anybody help me with that ?
