my son changed the password to start the windows program when u first turn ur pc on, the keyboard had several keys that stuck and the password did not go in as intended and now we can't use it at all.i believe it is windows xp professional. thanx

ok i got a new pc since a month, but since 2 days im getting this problem with my pc, the thing is when i press the button which is above the enter i think it is called INSERT the one you delete with it the words u write , everytime i press it theres a sound coming from my CASE, which is the similar to when u press more than 3 buttons at the same time , the sound is more like TIT TIT , or when i have to copy paste or close a window without saving my work the same sound comes again, if i want to exit a word page or a notepad page when i click on the X above
it gives me that sound too, now thats weird why does my pc give that sound since 2 days and not from when i got it, can any1 plz tell me what the problem is , and thanks.

My current browser is Netscape. With my previous one, Internet Explorer, all I had to do was click on an autozoom field at the bottom left of my screen to make my homepage fit more pleasingly!

Some of their "Up-grades" have all but drestroyed my machine.
It now crashes, and shuts down right in the middle of my work.
I talked with a salesman @ Office depot and he has heard from others about this problem.
Can anyone give me practical help? I am not a computer wizz as you may have guessed. And have a lot of money already tied up.
The computer is a Compaq Presario made in 1999 and currantly running Windows Home XP

I have a problem with the Yahoo Answers site. It just doesn't seem to be working for me recently. It loads up but the hourglass stays on the screen. I try to scroll down, but nothing happens. 5 minutes later and the screen will scroll all the way to the bottom. This has been going on for about a week. the thing is, it does not happen for any other websites all of which are working perfectly. I assumed it was somee problem with this site in particualr but from lack of responses on that channel last night it appears it may not be.

what is going on, and how can I fix it?? It used to work fine - now I can barely iuse the site as it keeps crasing!

my computer has the new feature Light Scribe on it, but I dont know how to "install" the program or even how to run it, nothing came with my computer, but the Owners Manuel and the tower says that its on my computer.... I want to label my CD's but I have no idea how to even get into the program!!

Websites (for fun/bill paying/research), Word and Excel for home daycare files (keeping track of expenses, payments, tax info), upload photos, download music.

How much RAM Min?
What type of video card?
How big of a hard drive?
Dual processor? What kind? What is Antholm (SP???).

graphic card effect video quality?
so i got radeon x300 ... i wonder what i can do to get max video quality when i watch video from youtube or anything i download .
does video card have alot to do with that ? ..
also what about screen ?

i know there is codec(software) and hardware ,,, if you cant do a thing about the codec...i mean when you get the file if it is divx you can improve the quality but convert..how can you get the max quality that the video has ? ..

How do you remove the searches in the Yahoo web search window?
The tools\internet options\remove cookies, does not work neither does, alt\del, control\del or control\alt\del. I need to get rid of about 100 of these. would like to pick and choose but a one time del all would be ok.

I cleaned the little ball and the rollers twice yesterday but it still keeps getting stuck. :S And just right now that I was cleaning it again, I was trying to move the pointer manually by moving the rollers with my finger but even when they're clean and rolling just fine, the cursor stays stuck. Time for a new mouse?
