myspace? how can i getin it @ school? Some proxies dont work. also anything u know that 4 shure works? plz help.

i changed my background on myspace and my text and pics are still there but the pics are all black and white now and the text doesnt show up unless u drag over it and highlight. does anyone know how i can fix this? thanks :)

The other day on "Quick", a Dallas newspaper, they had a collum that gave cool things to do on the internet when your bored. One of the links was to a website where you could find words that were in your cell phone number. Does anyone know that website?

I was told by my ISP that I was not receivng much in the way of packets however, outgoing packets were ok. This helps explain the lack of speed I get (or high ping). I ran two different programs that tested my system and receiveed recommended changes, which I made. My service is still slow and the ISP says they can do nothing further.

My questions: what are packets? And, can a five year old modem slow my system down that much?

SYSTEM: Runing WindowsXP Media PRO on an HP Pavillion w/2Mg processor and1Mg RAM on motherboard. this PC is hooked up direclty to the modem.

Any advice to spped things up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When I was on th web the other day, It suddenly displayed "Page not found" Almost as if I wasn't connected.

But I am, my wireless connection with the router upstairs is perfect, and everything is strong.

I tried Steam, BF2, FireFox, IE, Msn messenger, etc and they have no connection to any server!!

It was working fine and then suddenly stopped:(

for some reason my media player is acting kinda funny and not playing videos as it did before. i dont want to go through the trouble of finding out what is the problem, i was thinking if i could simply uninstall it from my computer and reinstall it again.

my question is, would that be possible? is it ok to do that? it wouldnt mess up the computer would it? and from what webpage can i download the latest medial player again??
