when i go to account settings .. and go to privacy settings ... i get confused ... how do i change it to public when all the options are these??

My computer was connected to the internet but a friend came over to use it and now i can't get back on the internet anymore.At the bottom of my screen a little box pops up and says network cable unplugged but the cable is plugged in and the box is on but it just won't connect so can someone help me and tell me what to do ???

Why, when you Google a search, does one of the comebacks always say ' Buy (whatever) on ebay.co.uk' .
E.g
If your were to Google search, Live kittens.
Selling live kittens is obviously against there rules, but yet, if you Google it, there will be a result, ' Buy live kittens on ebay.co.uk '
They should be done under trade and description act.
Attracting customers with false promise.

Every time I type in a website and hit enter, I get redirected to some stupid website called punksonbikes.com. I dont understand how this happened; before today everything was fine. And it only seems to affect Internet Explorer; I can still use Firefox just fine. Can someone please help me?
