I am going to be starting a computer repair business.

I would like some input.

I have been fixing computers for over 10 years now.

I am a certified computer technician and have worked for Hewlett Packard reseller for over 3 years.

I am factory trained to repair majority of printing and computer equipment out today.

I would like to know what people are willing, or are comfortable in paying a good technician per hour.

I will be providing repair, maintenance, and training on software (To some older people in the area).

Is $65 to $75 per hour OK with majority of people?

Take into consideration I will come out to the house, you do not need to drag any equipment out to any store.

Should I be using POP3 instead of IMAP if I want my inbox and sent box on my
laptop to mirror my third party's email server and what do I need to change
to get it to do so? Here are the details....

I'm using Outlook 2003 and have it configured to IMAP. I'm accessing my
university's email account (which also uses Outlook) through Outlook on my
laptop (remotely). The problem is that (1) when I send an email via logging
on to the server, the Outlook on my laptop doesn't update my sent box when I
open it, (2) when I retrieve an email via logging on to the server, my
laptop's Outlook still thinks that it's new mail and, (3) the same is true
vice versa. What I want is for my laptop's Outlook to look at and mirror my
school's Outlook (but ONLY when it comes to my inbox and sent items - i.e., I
still want to retain my (laptop's) Outlook's personal preferences like
display name, rules, alerts, stationary, etc. - my school's Outlook is rather
stripped down).

I signed up for AT&T Yahoo Dsl service a week back. I called them and spoke to a rep. I wanted to sign up for a Pro package with a month to month contract. The rep confirmed twice that I am signing up for month to month contract and I repeated the details to him and confirmed that I am signing up month to month contract.

There comes a surprise in the mail. The order summary states that I signed up for a 12 month contract and there is $99 termination fee.

BEWARE!!! If you are signing up for a month to month contract, talk to at least two people to confirm that your order has been set up properly.These guys are taking people for a ride.

They made me an unhappy customer in two days.

i have been blocked from viewing a web site site from yahoo, and i don't know that i need to mention the web site that i am trying to visit but the site is a celebrity entertainment site and for some reason i am not able to view it. Any answers? Thanks!

My original order was for 6 small items, I checked supersaver
free shipping. then they sent a verif. saying 2 orders & had the
S & H on 1 package. I called and told them. the guy said he fixed it and e-mailed me a verif. also said don't worry. Today I got an e-mail saying it was shipped, but showed 2 instead of 3 of an Item I discussed with the guy. What should I do? Call him back or trust him?
and wait for the delivery?

I am using a wireless internet connection for internet, that has a great streaming speed. But when i am using a P2P software like eMule, BitCommet, Azureus etc, i get a lowID error. These programs tell me that your port has been blocked. I have disabled all sorts of firewalls but i still get this message. Any software for port enabling will be great....
