why wont my new printer, a hp hewlett packard laserjet 3100, print out color, only black. i just put in a new print cartridge(c3906a)

sometime when i'm online my computer's screen blackout and i hear this wierd beep code. the screen is black there's a long single beep until i press the power button and then it restarts itself. when computer is back on i'm on restore screen. What's going on...help me plz...

The laptop is currently using 1024 x 768. It has S Video and VGA ports.

If it was to be connected to an external widescreen display (16:10), would the laptop be able to support it as in display the widescreen resolution on the display correctly and not the normal resolution (4:3) the laptop currently displays on its own screen?

It'll be set up with the mirror feature so that whatever is on the laptop, will display on the widescreen display so each time the widescreen display is used, the laptop will be closed.

I don't know about drivers etc, but it's an Acer 1355XC and the display adapters it tells me are VIA/S3G KN400/KM400.

Any help on the matter is much appreciated.

I've played these DVDs before with no problems. The visuals are working fine but with no sound. Audio CDs play without any problems. How do I fix this?

my graphics card is a S3 graphics Savage/IX (8MB) and my laptop is a IBM thinkpad T21
I have never had this problem and ive been using the card alot and it has worked perfectly
it hasnt been working as it gives this message when i wanna play a game (flight simultor):
Safe mode has been enabled because your system is currently unable to use hardware acceleration. etc, etc...

Ive been looking checking out for laptops lately and I find Wireless LAN in the specs sheet all the time. My question is, does WLAN mean Wi-Fi or is the notebook Wi-Fi enabled? Someone Kindly explain. cheers!

I have been having problems wit the computer and have run every spyware, virus program I can find. I have even shut down most of the processes and applications that run in the background. Now I cannot even download anything. And when I try to run some programs, I get "cannot read that memory location" messages.

I am running Win 2k SP4 and have changed out my entire RAM ( 1 gig). Nothing has changed.

Anyone have any ideas?

I have DSL and my mom has dial-up internet. If I want to buy her a webcam, will the difference in speeds cause a problem when we communicate? I know that with her dial-up connection the webcam quality will be poorer and it will be slower, but other than that does the differential cause any other issues?

i did....the box said they were 70 watt speakers, but then you open it up at home and find out they are 8 watts each....then they blew the tiny tweeters so fast.....it's a joke.......don't ever buy imo

Today dont know what happen, I can hear weird sound coming out from the device part of my laptop,not continuously, only once in a while.
sometime is sound like there is a disk running inside my laptop and sometime sound like a 'dial up', but i am not using dial up. does it mean my hardisk is crashing soon?

My laptop is fairly old, it is an HP ze1201, and my disk drive skips, and I need to run my OS Recovery Disk CDs. SO instead of buying an external cd drive, wouldn't it be better if I can get one Internal?

well, i have a Dell desktop and just recently.. i seem to have some problem with the comp. it suddenly shuts down and this blue screen comes up with some words. A lot actually.. Fills out the whole page. There are codes and stuffs but what i recongnise is something like IRQ_LESS_OR_ EQUAL.

i am not certain about it. but it has those words.

i have Norton but i am not even sure if it is a virus.. you dont get to do anything really. Just have to pull the cable off and turn it on again. Then it runs fine. But this happens maybe every 3-4 days.

Help! the computer is quite new but i think it is over its warranty period. So. i am looking for some cheap solutions.

What should i do now?

I just got a new Mac Book around the summer time. Within the first month it just caused me nothing but problems. (fyi, the only thing i use on my macbook is itunes due to the fact that i didn't have the internet or microsoft...yet). i took it in to the mac store and they gave me a new macbook. within three days the camera on the mac book started to act werid, the green light stayed on and my screen went completly green, same shade as the light onthe camera. i tried to turn it off and on again but the green light stayed on. took it to the mac store, they gave me a new one. keep in mind, 3rd macbook within a month. my 3rd one has been okay. but just about 3-4 days ago i was importing a cd to my itunes (computer not plugged in but computer FULLY charged) and my computer dies on me. i tred to turn it back on but it didn't work. it made a sound like it had a power failure. i plugged it in and then it worked again. also, my number nine button doen'st work too well. any help?
