My car won't start despite a new alternator, battery and water pump. Not to mention a new wiring harness, starter, and spark plugs no more than 3 years ago. I'm running out of options and I've been out of money. It's been finicky for the last 6 mo. (white smoke out the tail pipe, have to pump the gas to get it started, rpm fluxuating up and down, stuttering, occasionally dying in the road if I'm not quick enough on the gas) but now, all it does is click when I turn the key. Any suggestions? John Paul, are you out there?

This is a $30,000 + vehicle and it has quite possibly the worst radio ever. Here in Minnesota I listen to the Twins in my car and can get reception for about 200 miles. In my truck, I get barely 75-100 miles. This is the AM radio. The FM is not much better. Short of buying a new radio, is there anything I can do, or am I stuck with is crappy radio?
Thanks

I went to change my oil this past weekend and in my haste I inadvertantly picked up 10W-30 instead of 5W-30 which is normally used. Is this a big deal? what's the worst that could happen? I have a 95 acura integra 1.8 liter-4 cylinder

But you had nothing to do with it, of course. Let's say your friend borrowed your car, then someone's body is found in the trunk. The police impound the car for the investigation, and then once the case is closed, do you get the car back? What if you don't want it back, or the decomposing body has made it intolerable? Will your insurance buy you a new car? Would that be comprehensive?

My car was acting up lately so i decided to look under the hood of my car. I discovered a critter sitting on the engine it sat there for a moment then burrowed deeper into the car. There was a nest in the car and i got rid of that. But I dont know what it is or how to get rid of it. It has completely chewed through one of the wires on my car, that i noticed. It is gray about the size of a rabbit but it has really small ears. HELP! Before it eats my car

A lady either did not stop at a stop sign or did not yield (I'm not sure) last Friday, and I hit her at the intersection (I did not have a stop sign). Her insurance company is claiming that I am 10% liable because I should have seen her coming, that it is my responsibility to pay attention to drivers on the side streets. I can agree with that, however, the street has houses lining it, which would not allow me to see her coming down the road. I was told at one point that they are basing my liability on the fact that I stated in the recorded statement that I saw her at the "last second". I also stated in the statement that I tried to brake and turn to avoid her, but was unable to. My husband has said to hire an attorney, but I'm know that will cost us more than the 10% that they are not willing to pay at this point. Any advice? What should be my next step?

I have a BMW 5 series and my windscreen-wiper has damaged my windscreen.I need a cheap solution. I have already went to the local service, but they said the only solution is to replace the hole windscreen, which is very expensive. It's just a minor scrath, but it shows.Any suggestions?

...when my car is in park when I first start it, the RPM goes straight to around 1500. This has happened for quite a while, but usually when I go into drive it's fine. Today when I put it into drive, everything I did added 1500 RPMs for around 2 minutes until it finally cooled down.

Is my car dying? It only has 117,000 miles ('99 toyota camry). I'm thinking it did this because I did not drive it all day Sunday. Any idea what the problem is? Should I look into getting it fixed, or look into a new car?

Thanks in advance.
