Is there any other form of power measure that can be used to rate an engine other than torque and horse power? The reason I ask is because I have seen engines with identical horse power and torque curves on the "dyno" which "feel" very different in the real world.

truck pulled out in front of you? Is it just me, or do they always seem to be pulling out of parking lots or roads in front of people? I here that its because its the only way they can get out because of traffic, so now i make a point to let a semi out when i can.

One of my grandparents has a 1980 Buick Skylark. It's one of those cars has a bench front seat. It used to have a mecanism where the whole couch would move. (Kind of like now adays where you can individually move the seat).

1. What is this mechanism called?
2. Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to find one?

Thank you,

whenever i think about trains or buses i take everyday to school, it irritates me, because i have to travel a long way, with enough stress every morning. when i get down to change transport, i get so irritated that i think to myself ''aaaahhhggrr..the same silly road again, i have to cross it, change a bus, walk again to school'', in this weather.etc..etc..all makes me depressed and stressed by the time i reach school. how can i get rid of this? please don't suggest something like ''try a new route, get a magazine, etc..'' Give me basic tips how to think positively about it. thats all i want. i want to see tips in terms of what exists, not what i CAN do, which wont happen right now anyway. tell me what i SHOULD do to improve current situation. im really fed up with travel. how must i make up my mind? because it's inevitable..

I'm doing a little research now as in 2007 I hope to commute from Basingstoke to London. However, as a student I won't need to be in London 9-5 every day, yet I will need to be close to the congestion charging zone, without entering it. I would like free parking but a multi-storey with cheap rates for a few hours at a time would be ideal. Travelling closer into the city by tube or bus would be inevitable, but the shorter the distance, the better!

In Connecticut, selling a 92 mustang with an off road H-pipe installed. I have and will provide the stock H-pipe to the buyer. Other than informing the buyer that an off road H-pipe is installed (which I will put in the car ad), do I have any obligation to the buyer in terms of lemon laws or a possible lawsuit?

I will make it clear in the car ad that the H-pipe is for "off road" vechiles only.

Off road H-pipe = will FAIL emissions in most states.

One day I tried starting my car. I would turn the key, but the engine would not start. I noticed the battery had some greenish, blue crust on the plugs. So I installed a new battery. It starting working til I got on the freeway and slowed down at an exit. It then stalled on me. I continued by turning the ignition on again and proceeded. But everytime I was coming to a stop, it stalled everytime. Help me please!!
