I am looking for a good first car that my parents will agree to but that will also kick some *** when in need.
I thought of these cars because they look great, have power, and are very safe.
I am looking to buy a faster one which i automatically assumed was the sc400, but have heard its the sc3?
I found one in my area and its that real nice indigo blue color (not that it matters) the owner is the 2nd one, and has had it for 12 years. he is also very rich, and he has all maintenance records, has clear title.

BUT, it has 205k mi. I realize its a lexus but that still seams high. Do you think this is too much?
My mom would certainly agree on the sc3 over the v8 and if its faster, i dont see what the prob. would be.
id be spending my money on the car so do u think it will be reliable. is one more reliable than another. or is 205k just to much? i have about 4500 and he did say he is neg. plus blue book is 4770.

my car wont start! when i tried to use the remote to unlock the door, no response, my power windows go up and down, the horn works fine, lights come on, my radio has no power, on the panel it say's security. is this some security setting? what can i do to start my car? please help!

My G'pa passed away in June, and I've been placed in charge of his car, a '89 Buick Lesabre with 110,000 miles on it. I'm too busy to find someone who will pay more for it, so it sits.
How often should I drive it and why? I've heard of needing to put the car on blocks, etc.

My neighbor gave me a bike to ride, and there is nothing wrong with it except that one link on the chain does not move. I have tried WD-40, and also heard that PAM cooking spray works. Neither loosened it up!! Any suggestions, short of buying a new chain???

I have roughly 4000$ , and I need a car.
For new cars, I can pay $4000 for downpayment, and monthly I could only afford $100.
For used, I can pay in cash around $4000.
What I need,
I am a college student, so I want me car to look sporty and has good gas mileage.
I drive local a lot, short distance.

this is on my 1993 rx7 twin turbo. only happens when car is sat still and put in gear. take back out of gear and the revs steady them self again. more noticeable when engine is cold.

ok... I'm 15 and soon I'll take my driving class (some where during this winter)
so by like summer I'll have my permit
my old said if I earn A's for all my classes, he will buy me any car (my choice) that is under $25,000

-I'm looking for a new car, of course
-definitely a sport car....cuz it looks good
-good gas mileage
-good horsepower
-Auto and Manual transmission
-I prefer non-convertible....but a convertible is fine
