I have a Lincoln Towncar 91 model. I was driving from home to work this morning and I happened to notice the air suspension sign active. What does it mean? Any help?

If it is something I need to get checked with a mechanic, how much would it cost me? Could you suggest me a cheap place to get it fixed?

Thank you.

The left front signal blinks very fast, while the right front blinks normal speed. The left rear turn signal as well as the left rear brake light are both not working. The left tail light works as normal, but when the brakes are applied, the light does not begin to glow bright red as it normally should. Is it a bad bulb and easily replaced? Vehicle in question is a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport.

I have a 9 year old VW 1.9 diesel. I've heard you can use cooking oil rather than diesel, though somebody said it needs 3% white spirit adding.

Has anyone tried this? Did it work? If so, what are the long term effects?

I'm 17 and am trying to choose between two cars that I want... they're used cars, of course, and it's between a

1997 Chrysler Sebring JXI (a blue, automatic leather convertible) with unspecified miles (I've emailed the dealership a couple of times for that information, but haven't received a response)

OR a...

2000 Volkswagen Beetle GLS (lime green, also leather interior/ automatic and 117,000 miles...

They're both the exact same price at the dealerships, but I don't know which one is better...thanks for any advice~

I got into an accident involving a lane change. All I remembered was going straight 98 Accord and then I hear sound, thinking that it might be my tire, but I looked over to the left side of my vehicle and saw the other party's 05 Tacoma passenger door smashed into my driver side rear view mirror. The only thing was damage on my side is the side rear view mirror. On her side, it's the passenger door. After 30 minutes passed, the county sheriff came by. He found my side rear view mirror(not the holding but the mirror still intact with glass) laying 1-2 inches on her lane. The holding for the mirror is still hanging on the next to the door and is not cracked, but its not intact to the door;you can move it in a circular motion. So basically, the holding cause the mirror to fall apart from the car.
At first we all agreed not to take an accident report. But he stood there for awhile and told the other party that he will write the report. He told me based on the mirror that I was at fault.

I might buy a 69 Ford Ranchero GT, what sort of preformance mods could/should I get? It has a 390 engine, and to my knowledge, no mods. I would provide more information, but this is all I know of it so far. Im thinking new carb, MSD ignition, hooker headers, etc... Anything else?

I know with new cars, you always want to cut a deal because the dealerships sell it at MSRP. But what if I want to buy a used car? Does it still work or make sense to bargain? And what the heck am I supposed to say anyway?

I'm looking at transferring to a new job in San Jose, CA. I've visited the Bay Area extensively, but I've never lived there. One thing I know is that I do not want to live in Silicon Valley.

Two nearby communities I LOVE are Santa Cruz and San Francisco (for very different reasons). But the commute time is a major consideration.

Now, Google Maps tells me that the Santa Cruz --> San Jose commute is 41 minutes, and the San Francisco --> San Jose commute is 50 minutes. But given that I'll have to commute during peak weekday times, those estimates don't consider TRAFFIC.

So, for any of you who have actually done one of the those commutes at peak times, can you give me REAL-LIFE estimates on average commute times, and how much variation there is from the average? Making the right decision on this will really affect the quality of my life....THANK YOU!
