when i turn the click its makes this machine gun noise but of course not as loud , and all my light including the ones on my dash flicker everytime it clicks.plus my wipers turn on for some reason.please help got work tomm morning .

Ok here is my problem: We own a 2001 alero, 1966 Valiant, and we just bought a 2003 Satun L300 Station wagon, We owe about 2000 on the alero. The Valiant runs, is in good shape, needs some brake work, and has a oil leak (engine needs new gaskets). With other little things we could spend about a $1000 and the car would be in GREAT shape. But we never have the money, BUT I don't want to let the car sit and rot, AND it was my first car and I don't want to sell it. BUT like I said I never have the extra cash to sink into it. Any advice, ideas, adecdotes anything to give me an idea whether to keep the car to someday work on it or sell it. It's like a white elephant in the room, what to do with it? THANKS!!

Ok, this is a really random hypothetical question. If you took a running jump off of the top deck of a cruise ship and survived, (e.g. didn’t die upon contact with the water, didn’t come back into the side of the ship on the way down) how far out in the water would you have to be from the cruise ship to have a reasonable chance of swimming to safety w/o getting pulled in by the suction of the cruise ship’s propellers? also, does anyone know the approximate diameter of the propeller of a cruise ship? (lol, besides just really big?)

I have a 1988 Honda CRX with an engine swap to a D16 DOHC. I took it for an Illinois emission test and while it passed in part, it failed on the CO portion. Any suggections for correcting the problem?

I've got a BMW E36 saloon with a 1000w metre long bassbox with a 1000w amp. Inside the car, the bass sounds top, but outside you just hear rattling and muffled vibrations. How do I get the car to boom without adding too much weight on the car?

It came down to a squeeze play into a toll booth. About 100 feet from the toll booth & out of nowhere to my left I see an SUV on top of my mirror literally i slam the breaks on and he keeps speeding around me and still aiming to sideswipe my vehicle. Glad to say my mirror had a scrape about an inch from the edge....a little saturn.NO tickets issued. State Trooper stated that damages on both vehicles were under 500.00. The other driver had a 3 ft scratch not deep, just some grey paint from behind front psng door. Each was to take care of their damages. WELL, i received a letter from the other driver....in an envelope from his insurance company and a 1600.00 bill....he had windshield damage back light damage.you name it.door trim. door handles.ROOF SIDE MOLDING..have to remove and replace quarter handle trim, quarter vent grill quarter mudguard quarter glass, rear opening flare, glass Manual entries, rack assly quarter panel clean and retape rear roof moldng. WHO should pay?

my problem is two days prior my husband bought car i have. bill of sale we hadnt purchased insurance yet the car had transmission problems so was takeing to park at my house were was broke down even was driving on emergency lights' i have two spranged fingers no car and i cant stand or walk and my whole right side is purple.i also had no liscense for this there is nothing i can do .

Hi, I am a architecture college student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am a very motivated individual and I want to start my own car dealership. I feel that school is holding me back from starting my own business. Someone told me that without a four year degree people would not take me seriously but I really don’t see why they wouldn’t. So I guess my question is if I should follow my instinct and start my own car dealership without the four year degree. If there are any people out there that own their dealership where should I start?

I have a 98 Ford Escort ZX2. It has about 103,000 miles on it. Within the past couple of days the car has been acting funny. When I start the car it has been idling at about 1500 RPMs for about 10-15 seconds then it acts like it is going to stall (it goes to about 500-700 RPMs). I notice it when the car is stopped, but also when I'm driving it, I can feel the RPMs fluctuating. Kinda like if I was flooring it I could feel it kinda bogging down. This is without and air conditioning or heat on. The "Service Engine Soon" light has just come on also.

Can anyone give me an idea of what's going on?
