Here's what I know for sure...it isn't strictly a wiring thing...and I'm guessing the wiring isnt a problem at all. The tail light burned out...then a week later, one of the front headlights...then the other morning, the other one went out when I was going to work in the dark. I was getting quite nervous, but I tried the brights and they still worked! When I discovered that I knew it couldnt be strictly bad wires. I checked the bulbs, and indeed they were all blackened and burnt out. Replacing them fixed the problem, but who knows for how long. What is causing my bulbs to burn out? If its a power surge, I thought that fuses prevent this?! I know my battery isnt the greatest, because even when it was new it took a few cranks to get the engine going (my Dad has the same carrand his batt starts the car instantly). But at the same time this seems like an unlikely cause. I know Tauruses have a history of alternator problems, so this might be it too. Which is more likely?

I tried washing, rinsing and drying my car before letting it air dry on on it's own. But I was a little slow in some areas and it was so hot even in deep shade, that the water dried before I could wipe it off and dry the car with a chamois. Now I have water spots on the glass and paint. I tried re-washing and the spots just won't come off. Help, any suggestions?

What does it means when the oil pressure gauge pointer stays closer to the "H" not on the "H" but heading that way. whether the car has been setting for hour or driving it never moves. I had a oil change two months ago. This just started like maybe two days ago.

The Harley Davidsons inspite of huge V-Twins don't have radiators on any of their bikes except V-Rod. Why is that ? Is that just a design and fit issue ? How will the engines perform while driving on Indian roads with going no more than 3rd gear in the city traffic and the tropical climate ?

When it gets hot it stalls. It isn't overheating. I was told it could be a sensor in the top of the intake manifold that heats the air/fuel mixture when the engine is cold. The sensor could be bad and not cutting off causeing the fuel/air mixture to become too hot and in essence cause it to vapor lock. Can someone please advise?

When someone has and accident and their car is total and they have full coverage insurance on the vehicle, does the insurance company only pay the blue book value of the vehicle to the lender? Does the insurance company pay you anything once paying the lender off? How does it really go when a vehicle is total?

This is a crazy car. Two problems here. Climate Control - Heat/heater fan on positions 1, 2 or 3 always runs high. Where is that control? It is on High Fan all the time even if on lowest setting.
Also, where is the idle control module located and what does it look like? Vehicle is fuel injected and it idles at 1,500 RPM and it should idle at 1,000 RPM. Only sometimes does it come down to 1,000 RPM. How to fix these problems? Thanks.

I bought this bike last year but due to the birth of my child, I have to sell it (reluctantly). 2005, Black/Silver, Datatool £300 alarm, 3000mls, all paperwork, bought for £7200.

Please be serious, no stupid remarks like "I'll buy it of ya for a fiver" All sensible answers will be much appreciated.
Thanks

P.s If YOU are interested in purchasing this off me, I'm based in London and will accept the highest offer.

Ok--I am one of those wierd people who are absolutely terrified by semi trucks. I always take side roads to avoid them on expressways. There just so huge. Anyway, I don't know if one of my fears about them is in reality a possibility. Do you know?

Let's say you're driving alongside a semi-truck/18 wheeler and for some reason it tips over and falls on the side that you're on. What would it do to the car? Would it completely flatten it (and you) inside?

I know it's kinda a wierd question, but I'm trying to get over my phobia. :-) Thanks!

I can see the cooling fan turn on if I turn on the AC after a short drive but the AC fan behind the condensor does not turn on. I am getting cold air from the AC and dont notice anything else amiss. Also when the engine idles with the AC running, I can hear a click now and then after which the engine's rpm changes a bit (either goes up or down). Is this click the sound of some relay? Can this relay be bad? Also is there any other switch etc. which drives the AC fan which can go bad? Thank you for your help! :-)

Basically the car engine destroyed itself after only 50 miles. It sounded fine when purchased. Are there additives that an unsrupulous dealer can put in the oil that will revive the engine just long enough to sell it? Is there a way to test for those by some sort of lab analysis and if so, do you know of any labs that do it and how much does it cost?
