I was recenly caught driving a friends car without insurance and with a full driving license which i only passed around six months ago - are points on my license a must do for the courts or could i be punished in some other way??? im 19 never been in trouble with the police before and was only dropping the car of for someone who had left the car after losing there keys which i found and was only returning please help 6 points and my license will be revoked due to still being in my probationary period am i guarenteed to receive the 6/8 points and lose my license or will i be punished in some other way ..

I have a 1989 yamaha FZR600. The piston rings are going and the clutch. A buddy of mine suggested instead of crapping the bike, to just swap it for a better motor. I want to know if i can get the FZR1000 motor in my frame. I dont know what the deminsions are or anything, so i am seeing if anyone knows some refrences or has already done this

i have a 1985 cadillac fleetwood with the 4.1L fwd. when it gets around 80 degress outside the car will not stay running. i have tryed a couple diffrent things but nothing seems to work. if anyone has any info to help me plz don't hesatate to say somethin.... i need this car for my job, without it i may get fired... thank you

I want to replace the rear disc brake pads and rotors on a 2004 impala. Does not have drum brakes. is this done the same way as the front disc brakes??

I just replaced the brakes pads today on my 2000 Grand Caravan. I used the plain old standard brakes pads that you would get at a NAPA or Checker. I did everything right... they are installed correctly, I bled the brake lines to get the dirty brown fluid out, I refilled the brake fluid to full. I did not replace the rotors as they are still good with only a couple small scratches.

I expected bleeding the brakes would change the feel in the brake pedal, which it did. The problem is, the brake stop the van worse now then they did before. I'm not sure why. Everything is tight and they aren't leaking any fluid. I can put the pedal to the floor and it doesn't slow nearly as fast as it should.

Any ideas? Are the pads I replaced them with just crap? (The old ones were squeeking and they stopped better.)

i just bought a used 92 honda 300 fourtrax. it was a little hard to get the shifter to go between neutral and 1st gear after getting it home and riding it a few days it hung in first after rocking it back and forth a few times it shifted ...........it done it again the next day and i kicked the shifter and broke it what is causing it to stick like that???? also what kind of service do these machines give?????

My insurance company says they cover my rental up to $1000 some-odd dollars at $35 a day. Because I chose a repair shop listed with their "Circle of Excellence", my insurance company says if the repairs aren't done by then, the shop pays for the rest for the duration of the repair time. However, I spoke with the guy who's keeping me updated on repair status and he said the shop probably won't pay for the difference because they have no control over how long this is taking. For the record, they've had it since Aug. 24th. Now I'm worried that I'm gonna get slapped with a MAJOR rental bill. What the *%^%$*&^ is going on??? What do I do?
