Frequently the Metro train is delayed because there is a sick passenger in a train ahead of it. What does this mean? Is the person unconscious? Woozy? Having a heart attack? Since these delays only last a few minutes, what is it that they do? Leave the person at the next station, or wait for paramedics? No one I've asked seems to know.

In a Diesel truck at work, the torque is so intense that the engine can break the driveshaft. Its a Kensworth- a big truck for hauling cargo for deliveries of lumber, but not as big as an 18 wheeler

I am writing a script in which a man continuously flies around the world in an airplane, stopping only to change pilots, get fuel, etc. But I'm not sure exactly how long it would realistically take to fly once around the globe. Anybody have an idea?

It goes too long causing the starter to grind while the engine is running. The shop I got it installed at is no longer in business and I have no paperwork anylonger. Just thought maybe there is something I can do if anyone can tell me.

I used to be a drivers mate. Long boring journies led to extreme measures to pass the time. I once, on a 900 mile round trip, did a survey of 'middle lane hoggers' and found that 8 out of ten of them were women.
There were 150 vehicles in this particular count.
I'm not making this up.
This is a FACT.
What I want to know, mainly from the women but also from that 20% of men, is what are your reasons for doing this?
Did you know you weren't supposed to?
Or do you just not give a monkeys'?

PS. I'm not suicidal over this, just interested.

If you have only one exhaust pipe on your motorcycle, you only need one louder muffler to replace the original one. But if you have more than one exhaust pipe, which one you want to put your louder muffler on? Will this cause an imbalance of your fuel system because louder muffler is less restrictive and will create more vacuum and will demand more fuel in that part of the cylinders? I don't have a motorcycle and I don't know much about it. If you can give me the best answer that makes sense to me I will pay you $10. That's a promise.

Volvo, Pontiac, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz, together with other European car manufacturers already build some models with automatic convertible hardtops. These models automatically separate the metal hardtop and rear window into three or four sections and then stow these sections on top of each other into the trunk. The entire mechanism is controlled by electrical motors in the system.

I have am 88 Saab 900 with 80,000 miles on it.(I am pretty sure its the original tans) It have always been a little stiff getting into 1st gear. Then one day I tried to shift into 5th and it just wont go. I have used a lot of force and Nothing happend. The last possible bad thing that happened was I was driving to slow in 4th gear and it popped into nutreul. The next day I found that if I florred it in 4th and shifted quick it would slide into 5th and work fine. Today I have not had such luck and its back to the same problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Hi, I posted on here not too long ago that my car would not shift out of park. A friend helped me look at my car, and it seems like my car IS shifting gears, but for some reason, my parking breaks aren't releasing. What can I do? Is there a way to release them? Or do I need to send it to a mechanic, and if so, can my car be towed there if my brakes are locked? My car will go into neutral, but the locks stay on.

Thanks!!

The button fell off and now the mechanism is caved in, so I can not start the car. I have to push the button and turn the key at the same time to start the car. How can I by-pass this and start my car without pushing the button?

I'm getting insurance in Florida, and I talked to a progressive guy yesterday, and he didn't mention that, so does that mean my policy probably wouldn't cover uninsured drivers hitting me?
