A lady ran a red light and my truck is crunched in the front. Should I go to a dealer to get the best repairs since the insurance will be paying for it or would a body shop be best. My ins. agent has me calling around today to find a place to get it looked at

Mum has a Laser and it has always been reliable and excellent even though she services it like every three years... but Dad is totally against Fords, he says if you can't take a joke then you shouldn't own a Ford... but I think he's being an idiot about it. Can you guys tell me your experiences with them if you own one, especially ones manufactured around year 2000? Thanks : )
